Thank you for the info. I guess I was mostly concerned about accessing those resorts with a wheeler and portable fish house.

Did you purchase to bow new or used/ private sale or from an actual archery shop? Buying a bow is similar to buying glasses, its hard to pick one up and have it work for you the way you want. Sounds to me like peep placement and draw length might be the issue usually the rest is the last thing I personally would adjust. That has a significant effect on arrow flight ( more noticeable with broad heads). That being said I would take it in to an actual bow shop have them set it up right for you and shoot it through paper. Hope this helps

Do Marcums options vary from model to model the way Vexilar does? A few years back I was looking at them and I couldn’t find a Vex with the right options. I do a majority of my fishing in 10′-20′ feet of water with the occasional 30+. mostly going after pan fish. I will be heading to a store this weekend to see what they got now. Thanks again for the input.

I am from the twin cities area, price range 3-$400. I would like to do more of the hole hopping. I used a Hondex and had a buddy that had an early Marcum. Do they still interfere with each other in case I end up in a portable?

My old man swears by lunar tables, but every time I have gone with him hunting and fishing never seemed any different. However it does bring a little extra motivation to go out real early or stay late and hit it hard. You never know when your gonna get that bite of a lifetime.
