Finally got the problem solved, had to add a ground wire from the trolling motor plug to a motor mounting bolt. After doing that all is well. Thanks to Rudy at R&R Sports in Clinton for the great service.

Not sure of the exact year it was made but most likely one of the first made since the boat its on was a 2007, those pictures are exactly what were getting on ours. The screen is perfect until the motor turns on.

I was out in the boat with my dad on the Chip catching crappies when it came over the local radio station that one of the twin towers was hit. We went right in and watched tv the rest of the day. Will never forget that.

I have the 7’6″ Mojo Flippin rod. My only complaint is that its not telescoping. Everything else performs great.

I have heard of other Johnson/Evinrudes with similar issues. I would be interested in hearing what you find out from your mechanic.
