    I think you’re probably right about the batteries . . .something not quite consistent there. Also, I agree about regular alkaline batteries as well. I had those in my other camera and didn’t have any problems and ran them for about a year and a half….
    Where I live, we get some very cold snaps of -20-30 below Centigrade so I was thinking Lithiums might be good.

    I have my other camera in the woods right now and won’t pull the card for a couple more months. It’s loaded with new alkaline batteries.

    I just contacted the manufacturer. Nothing in the manual about batteries except not to mix them up and install them properly.
