    Whaaaaat the heck are these:

They look like the illegitimate children of a mating between a smallmouth bass and a perch.

Had a friend call me tonight telling me that he’s getting tired of his .30-06 recoil and wants to get a new rifle in a more forgiving caliber that will still reach out to 400-500yds respectably. His thoughts were .270win but I was wondering if a .25-06 might be a better option. Objective is whitetails. Help me out guys cuz I don’t really know how the two stack up against each other. Which way would you go?

Sometimes. . . Just let it be
He clearly has tossed it around thinking about it.
But. . . . The .25-06, are you able to test them?

Hello again from Finland it’s that time of the year
    HARD ICE!!!
Would love to see how you break in a new lure,
Meaning,. . . how to dismiss a lure quickly so it doesn’t ruin the prime time bite.

Or time spent. . .there’s a saying here. No more than 8 seconds per hole if no bite, don’t bother calling them in, hunt for them.

Also do a old school no flashers just an auger backpack and hunt for them bandits
Also old school method hand crank jigging sticks not rod and reel combos

Not a rant.If I boil it down my point was that, the 3 main targets were a Jewish based business. And American band (concert). And a soccer match with a German team.
They have on tape people at the restaurant or cafe stating that gunman were aiming past them to shoot owners, first.
These officials in government. (Europe) and Finland seem to think terror just won’t happen because we let them praise there
    Mohammad peace fully.
I found out today 300 of the few thousands of refugees that moved to our area have visited Syria in the past year.
And 50 of them are being watched.
They live less than 10 min. Walking distance from the airport!!
And 2 min. Away from the biggest shopping mall in the area….
And also they walk everywhere no-brainer but for the past two days I haven’t seen not even one walking around.
They stick out like a sore thumb, but you just never know.

Where’s the line tie on those? I didn’t spot anything obvious in the photo.

Right above my thumb is where you tie on.

    Are those Finnish?

Not sure got this pair last year from an Estonian while getting skunked in a tournament. With 15 minutes left in turny I managed to get fourth to last place out of 250.
They sell them in small ziplocks bags at the store no name or make just the price on it.
And they are always sold out.
    Soo maybe Finnish.
I’m thinkin Russian or Estonian just by looking at the hook type, Finnish lures here have sweeeeet hooks on them.

Hit up a tournament. Clear Lake Iowa has the yellow bass bonanza. Very fast paced when you get into them!

I fish turnys here as well but these old timers make one hole and win. . .with no bait or any kimd of scent just different colors of hooks on a spoon slender as a #2 pencil.

Finland is finally getting a one license for country next year.
At one point, few years back during summer. I had five licenses two pond permits and also many boat fees and got charged for each rod if I was trolling, or casting.
*Side note they use tons of gillnets here which is killing Finlands fisheries.
So sad to see good locations getting emptied by commerical netters not only in the sea but bigger lakes as well.
    Btw.
I met some Lapplanders that do a dance for early hard ice
    I’ll give them a call.. . . .

Costa Rica rings my bell and toots my horn
Love it there the surfing and fishing OMG
My buddy knows the locals very well fished out of canoes for snook that would almost flip when you set the hooks (doubles)
And the roosters and the power they have at any size
But what tops it all is the simplest snooks off the beach
With a hair jig that has seen its better day
