just found this site and this is my first post so I hope I get it right. this is one of my favorite ways to fish on mille lacs been doing it for a long time and you don’t need any sceneted plastics just worms with a long tail in the right colors. watermelon, motoroil, black and other natural colors are all good and keep the perch away and the walleyes eat them right up. if you get short hit really change around colors to find what they want as it changes every day. once you find the right color it will be game on. the soiuth east corner of 9 mile off the break a bit has been the best for me of late with the north west corner of eight giving up a lot of fish too. there’s fewer perch on the mud but the pike and muskies will keep you on your toes as I lose a rig or two a dfay to the toothie guys. this bite will slowly taper off by mid july so get out there while it still goes good. if you see a patriot with a merc pulling blades give me a wave.
