I can’t believe how much they have stripped away from the 1775 proguide compared to the 18-19 models, almost worth trying to find a used 18 or 19. for the amount of mo ey they want for a 22 model, with a max 75hp? jmtc. good luck. shame on lund

roger, I have my trim tab pretty much dialed in also, your warrior is probably alot heavier than my lund , so you probably handle waves and wakes alot better, pretty much the only time I use the assist is when water is real rough or crossing wakes. I don’t use it when getting on plane because my boat jumps right out of the hole and gets on plane super fast.

yes I did, very happy with it, no fighting torque or wakes. just step on switch and it locks it right up.

ya, I usually take 3,week long trips a yr, but I make sure what ever hse on the lake I rent that they have electricity at the dock, I fish every weekend and make sure I plug them in every night when I’m done.

ya you guys are right, same height just longer, I think I just went with the 24 because it was the same size that came from the dealer, and I would have had to change the pan. maybe I will call batteries plus back and ask them if they will exchange it for another 27 and pay the difference. then change the pan. but on the other hand, I only run 1 graph at a time and strictly a catch and release guy so I don’t run my live wells, unless I want to keep a few crappie but that’s rare. hell I don’t know.

roger maybe that’s what it was. I know my battery post is just below the edge of the hatch door.

did you have to mount the 31 on its side? I measured mine and it would have been about 1/2 to tall.

thanks, it took a while, I couldn’t mount it where my old 3 bank was, the 4 bank is a bit bigger. so I utilized the compartment next to my rod locker, it had an access hole already there. just took half a day to reroute cables and pulled up the center floor to run an extension cable for the starting battery. turned out pretty good and clean. plus pulling up the floor let’s me explore more of the boat and how it set up as far as fuel tank and stuff.

northstar has a great full 4yr warranty so if it goes bad I will just pay the difference between 24 and 27 and upgrade and change pan and mount sideways, something about mounting a battery sideways is wierd to me.

90 mercury, 2 helix 9s, only run 1 at a time. that’s the way it came, with a 24. a 27 would be too tall. I guess I could have mounted sideways but the I would have to change the pan.

ok update time, got my prop changed today to a 15pitch x7 spitfire, big difference max rpm is 5950 or so, top end is about 38mph in the wind, got considerable bow lift, spray off bottom of boat comes out next to drivers seat. so its riding higher. handles good and still pops right up on plane. thanks for help.

That white wear ring is a maintenance item. FYI, if you ever notice a sudden cavitation issue you know it’s time
    to replace it as well.

that’s what I read, mine wasn’t to that point yet, I just noticed it sticking out of the gear housing 1/8 inch and it wouldn’t clip in, the 4 prongs were still there, just think they was getting weak and not staying clipped in.

ok now I’m confused, my prop says 14×13 spitfire x7 and has those vent holes with the plugs in it. I thought I had the command thrust gearbox, but it doesn’t have the ct emblem on the back of the motor cowl.

Spitfire X7 is only available for the standard gearcase 75-115, so if that’s what you’re currently running for a prop model you have a standard gearcase.

roger, I found that out yesterday, had to replace that white plastic ring behind the prop, mine kept coming out a little. thanks for the help guys.

Prop diameters change somewhat with pitch. Looks like the 15″ Spitfire X7 is listed as being 13.5″ diameter. It’s Jaco’s not Jacobs, I think they are in Tennessee, or some place down there. When I bought mine, it was $399, no tax and free ship. Prices have went up
    jacosmarine.com

just talked to them they are $455 but are on back order till Oct. nice lady on phone

Jaco’s has best price on props, if you can’t find anyone to swap.

I have a 2018 and it doesn’t have a kicker fuel line, i believe you can just T it into main line, i have a buddy that did that on his 1775 adventure.

there are 2 versions I believe, 1 is mid height and the other is a captains chair with a high back. mine doesn’t fold forward so if I have the cover on you have to take the seat off the post. no biggy for me. the mercury is full hydraulic power steering and it needs power. the brand I’m looking at is called tiller assist, it needs power but only when you press the foot button to lock the steering.

sorry about all the extra pics, couldn’t figure out how to delete photos

very nice, my dealer said it was like $3500 for the mercury set up. I was looking at tiller assist for $1200 since I only go to real big lakes 2-3 times a yr. most lake in northern Indiana are 1000acre or less. nice set up, what boat is that.
