Always had good luck with red lake ice cabins. They have castles and custom sleepers. Reasonably priced and take good care of us when we go.

I wonder if a Norsk 20 would fit. The shuttle I’m planning to get is the same one that comes with a norsk 20 if you purchase the unit and shuttle as a kit.

Was leaning towards a 15 or 20 ah. Usually do sleepers and try not to run the generator too much.

Has anyone done the lake of the woods passenger services ? I have a dui 10 years ago this April and I can’t seem to get a straight answer or much info on the boarder crossing headaches. Lake of the woods passenger offers bomber rides right to the sleeper. Seems pretty legit.

Appreciate the info ! Thanks. We don’t have snowmobiles or anything so we can’t be too mobile.

We were kinda looking into either sunset lodge or a sleeper out of angle outpost. It looks like the same guys take people out of young’s bay and angle outpost. According to their websites.

We had a good time. Fishing wasn’t crazy fishing but enough to keep us entertained. And a handful of 20 inch plus fish. Ate fish and was able to take a couple home and my dad said the same thing about foster !

The ice vise look really similar to the 13 ones there thicker and won’t roll like the bands.

I have one a the cold snap ones for the smaller bands like that but It didn’t work at all for the thicker ice vise ones. One a them would be helpful for the thicker ones !

I use a buddy heater on the ice. And got a hose to run of 20lb tanks this year. Do you guys recommend the filter ? I haven’t got one for it yet and had it out just about every weekend this winter. After switching tanks last weekend it gave me a little trouble staying running but then ran fine. I don’t have the hose that don’t require a filter.

Thanks ! We’ve got a few this year that are so much darker than others. Wasn’t sure if maybe we got a brook in the mix. They are so damn fun to catch. It just seemed fatter and a bit shorter than the rest.

Chester woods is right down the road from me. My dad and I just prefer the chance at those trout at foster arends. And yes Tom was a wealth of knowledge. I actually used to message him often about ice fishing in this area.

I was skeptical about posting cause I figured everyone would think I was nuts ! I thought those little guys hibernated or something ! Really wakes you up when it comes up the hole and just looks at you for a minute !

I bought a flx 20 on a genz box this winter the price was awesome and I wanted to upgrade.. i would have preferred the pro pack but the sale was for the genz only. I have no complaints with mine. Was looking into ordering a ducer arm from basskhang. A couple other places offer them too that are under 20 bucks.
