FYI….Stopping after work to have ” 2 beers”………Will not put the average adult male over a .05 BAC……..Now if you slam them, or throw in a shot or too, you might be over the limit…………..I’m still undecided if this rule change would be good or bad.
April 28, 2013 at 11:51 am #11663502006 and newer is when they fixed the problem……..Some people have no problems with the old ones…….others have them break off………..its kind of a crap shoot!
February 16, 2013 at 4:17 am #1142507My father had it done a few years ago….The procedure went fine…then as they were removing the equipment they nicked something, and did some damage, and they placed him on a pacemaker. He is NOT pacemaker dependent, but it still is there in case anything goes too far out of wack. His irregular heartbeat is still not fixed.
FYI

January 15, 2013 at 5:41 am #1130843In MN you only need a permit to purchase a handgun from a licensed dealer, or a permit to conceal carry. There is NO paperwork when one person gives, or sells ANY gun to another person as long as neither are Federal Firearms dealers. In WI you do NOT need a permit to purchase a handgun. You just go to the gun store pick out what you want, fill out some paperwork, and there is a waiting period(5 days maybe??)…..then you can go back and pick the gun up.
Now you can NOT live in MN and purchase a handgun in WI without doing a FFL transfer. It is against the law to purchase a firearm across state lines. If you are a resident of MN and find a gun in WI or any other state, you will have to make arrangements with the seller, to ship the handgun to a FFL dealer in MN to complete the transaction. Usually the dealer in MN will have a small fee to cover the paperwork. This ONLY applies when buying a handgun across stat lines, from a FFL dealer. Again person to person gun sales require no paperwork.

We have been to Sullivans, Hillside Fish House, and Beetles, all very good food.
Can anyone give me an idea of the prices at Nosh? Since we will be in Wabesha any suggestions for a small mom & pop type Italian place of a good Steakhouse anywhere along the River.
I like the catch it and grill it but I might end up Swimming With the Fishes if I try that!!!!!
If you look at the Nosh website, it has prices………I have never been there, but I was curious too.

Nutz,
Do yourself a favor and take 93 south to Trempleau. Turn on Wi 35/54 and go east to the Hillside Fish House. Great food and atmosphere.

I think its hit and miss there….I live within walking distance from the Hillside, and the last few times I have been there it was the WORST service I have ever had and the food was terrible.
October 12, 2012 at 11:42 pm #1104936I assure you there is NO MN State Law that bans a non commercial or school bus from leaving your trailer hitch in. I suppose it is possible that a city could have an ordinance that prohibits it though.

Hey fellas, long time lurker on this site, thought it was time to join the fun. Lots of good info on here.
Has anyone used nanofil on an ice rod? Thinking about spooling some up thinking it might not hold water like traditional braids. any thoughts?
I tried Nanofil last year……..DON”T waste your time!! In the cold weather it has EXTREMELY bad memory!!! I couldn’t even use it, because it held the coils so bad. It may be an OK open water line, but is terrible on the ice.
October 4, 2012 at 1:07 am #1102810I used to be a PowerPro only guy—tried Suffix braid this year, and love it! I’d say you cant go wrong with either!

May 11, 2012 at 4:04 am #1067493Thanks for the ideas, and keep them coming!……..My original plan is HDS-5 at the bow, and Elite 5 DSI at the controls. I want DSI and GPS more than side scan..but I’m still open for ideas!
