I have pretty good luck in stained water for Crappies and gills with copper jigs and I usually tip with Orange, Red, Purple or Motor oil colored plastics.

I have the Eskimo Propane and absolutely love it. I will never go back to gas. Starts up every time in 1 or 2 pulls. You’ll here people say that the propane will freeze. No it doesn’t. I’ve been in some pretty nasty weather and it never froze on me.

I have had great success with the Charlie Bee’s for nice crappie and bull gills. My best colors have been black/chart tail and Junebug/chart tail.

I have a 6’6″ G-Loomis IMX Ultra light. I love it. Super sensative and can cast those jigs a mile.

Real nice Pannies. Travis I see you on Crappie Keiths forum. Have you used THE JIG? If so have you had luck open water and ice fishing?

Devil’s lake ND, by a long shot. No where near the fishing pressure as the lakes here in Minnesota get. Great Walleye, Pike, perch and White Bass. Even some Crappie and a few Muskie.

Travis aren’t you also on the Thorne Bros forums? I’m good friends with Matt Johnson.

I’m fishing the Mora,MN area. A small little lake that has a small river andcreek that flowsin and out. Virtually nocurrent what so ever. Not even sure you can call it a resevoir. Has more of a natural lake feel.
