For your car fill it and forget it. For my boat and mower, sno blowers, weed whip, leaf blower, generator, nothing gets ethanol anymore. Zero, zip, nada. I’m tired of that crap gumming everything up.

I fish Lake of the Woods and purchased WavePro 2.0 pedestals for the pedestals behind the helm. Also purchased Tempress Pro-Bax seats with these pedestals. Love both.

Great read — down memory lane — I remember

“Counter checks” every store had the local bank’s blank checks that one could fill out to pay for the purchase. The store clerk would even fill out the check except for the signature for my Grandpa.

As a kid, you played in the neighborhood all day, probably ate lunch over at your buddy’s house and showed up at home for supper. Had to behave tho, because all your buddy’s mom were your Mom too so behave!

When my youngest son was 15, we bought an ’84 Ford Tempo ~ 1998, he went out to look at the “new vehicle” that he would potentially be driving in another year and came in befuddled and said: Dad, the radio, it’s analog! (with a rotary dial that moved a bar across the screen to change the frequency). I said: But it is AM/FM.

EZEE Steps is the way to go. Worth the price! I am 65 and have the same safety concerns. He custom makes the steps to your measurements. I ended up with a 4 step system and ordered them galvanized to match the trailer. See enclosed picture.

Does the motor say etec on it? I believe 2004 is still the ficht motor. If this is a 200 ho direct inject “flag” motor be prepared for some mechanical surprises. The injectors fail and you won’t be able to find a new one or rebuild the used one, they don’t exist anymore.. call any Evinrude mechanic and ask them about the d.i. motors and they will give you an idea what your in for.
Also, see if the lower unit has been upgraded from the old lightning l.u. to the mag

Yes, the 200HP motor says E-Tec on the side.

If you buy it and install new plugs remember to index the plugs.

I am not a “gear head”, please explain what you mean by “index the plugs”? Thanks

Thanks everybody for your input. We are asking for a compression test and number of hours on the eTec motor.

We fish Lake of the Woods and purchased a pair of WavePro Shock 2.0 (https://waveproshock.com/) seat pedestals for the captain and navigator seats (front row). I replaced the seats with the Tempress ProBax orthopedic seats and deluxe powder coated arm rest. We are ~ 225-250 Lb. large mammals and these seats tamed the waves on LOTW! LOVE IT.

My current boat has gray vinyl flooring and a wash down pump/hose. Absolutely love it. Fish bleeds all over the floor or you spill something, you can hose it down to remove it. My previous boat was an Alumacraft with carpet flooring, a real pain in the butt to get worm dirt, fish guts, etc. cleaned off the carpet. I also feel flies are less of an issue with the vinyl. When the flies are real bad, I spray the inside of the boat with TEMPO to eliminate the flies. We fish May through October on LOTW and I do not believe the floor ever got too hot to be barefoot.

I just received two of the Energized Outdoors 12.8 V 10 AH LiFePO4 lithium ion batteriers and GC60-12F4 Chargers. I have had the charger on the battery for 2+ days and the green LED charge indicators are continuously cycling through the 25-50-75-100% positions. Is this telling me the batteries are fully charged or do I have an issue?

LOTW fishing with Arnesen’s. Usually do 2-4 trips each winter. Their guides do a great job!

My son and I both have the Transporter case and like them. Really like the storage in the big center compartment.

I have the LX7 for the past 5-6 years or so and LOVE it. I did the Nov.-2016 firmware update with no issues. Just added the Lithium Shuttle for this year. I typically fish with my two son’s Hummingbird ICE-55 and another LX7. I also have a MX5 as a guest flasher. Little or no interference issues when using the narrow cone angle. I have friends with Vexilar’s fish with us and they have much more issues with interference than the Marcum’s. If is is a new Vexilar with better IR, then less issues. Just my observations.

In the NW Angle, we have ice-fished at Sunset Lodge (http://www.sunsetlodgeresort.com/) a couple of times. We had the resort take us out to their fish houses in Minnesota waters. They do have guides available to take you into Ontario to chase crappies. We have a cabin on the south shore at Arnesen’s Rocky Point (https://arnesens.com/) and fish with Arnesen’s guides several times each winter. Arnesen’s do a very good and sincere job in my opinion.
