no fluke, my electra lazer broke in the same spot. I handle my equipment with kid gloves and I don’t know how I broke mine. I had to order my replacement from strikemaster, over 50 dollars including shipping. they may have improved the composite material used to make the handle. my new one looks different and has been reinforced around the area that it broke.

should have mentioned length of tear which is about 4 inches. appreciate everyones input. did try duct tape as quick fix, it did not stick very well, came off before I left to go fishing. thanks for options of repair.

did not know if the material would stand the heat of an iron. thanks mr walleye
