I would have all that canned goods on the floor. Too much weight for that shelf, would be sick seeing that busted on the floor.

My beretta A400 is very reliable & light. Get yourself some good ammo, I run the original Hevishot. Fortunately I went nuts yrs ago & stocked up, Hevishot is crazy expensive now.

    That’s a definite opinion.

Foe me, having everything decked out with lights, a blinking tree, turning off lights, snow falling, sitting at a table with blinking lights, feasting on pretty much the same foods as thanksgiving, is where it’s at for me.

Don’t try picking up a slice of Joey novas pizza by the crust. Unless you like wearing the toppings or having them dump on the plate. I’ve asked to have it well done, hoping the crust would crisp up, still soggy crust.

He’d get people bringing deer in to process, he’d ask what steaks they wanted, how much ground up… some hunters would say grind everything, no steaks. That’s the time my buddy would take out the tenderloins & keep for himself, which I found being a snotty way to do things. That’s what he ground up & made 5lb chubs of sausage.. every so often he’d bring home 2 of those chubs, I quickly found my fav sausage.

Never been a troll but after watching YouTube’s on cooking wild game, I believe it was how my buddy cooked them that turned me off. He did any game meat in a pan with onions & swimming in butter & cooked them till past being well done..

Looks like you can cook some kinds of game so they are med-rare to medium….

I also kicked it up by steaming carrots, broccoli & cauliflower & put in the soup..

Kent Rollins may be goofy as a bat but the foods he makes are great.

I Made enough for 4 large bowls, lasted 2 days & every drop was excellent applause

A little depressed tonight. My daughter came by & cut some of the veggies from my raised garden, mostly peppers. I was hoping to have some spice to the peppers but apparently the variety she planted have zero heat to them…. I love spicy stuff, up to the point where your lips are starting to smoke, any hotter is simply pain..

If I were into pain, I’d have my ex tie my lower unit to a tree stump & push me over backwards shock

Living with a butcher friend for a few years gave me the chance to try several kinds of wild animals that people brought in to be processed. Bear meat I won’t eat again, elk was dry & gamey, venison was also gamey but the venison sausage he’d make using the tenderloins was outstanding.

    Wish I had that available.

Sitting here thinkin about foods. In my younger days my mom made soups, mostly because it was cheap to do. I was always like soup again?

Fast forward & now love making many types of soups, tonight was cheesy vegetable potato soup. My bowl was too big, I am one beached whale doah

Agreed, looks great… moving up to more tender cuts like a Tbone, porterhouse, ribeye isn’t hard to do at all. The key will be to find how rare you like them. For me it’s hard to eat any steak that’s cooked past rare/med rare. Another key is don’t throw a steak on the grill if it’s not room temp, a little salt & pepper & let it sit an hour outside the fridge. toast

Ordered an 8oz cup of blue cheese with the 12 buffalo wings, was scraping the bottom of the cup when the 12th went down. Luce has excellent blue cheese.

    That did it!

I’m fortunate to have a pizza Luce very close. Have buffalo wings with a load of blue cheese on the way…. And a slice of what I consider top notch pizza.

All from Iowa? They’ll stir up a comment from wrong way hah

What I’ve found over the many years of Tonka fishing, is that an old spool of 4-6lb test, say a hundred yards of it with a lead weight casted to shore in front of the &#$@%, gets wound in the prop quite well…. Gotta be quick with a knife just before he spools ya, you don’t want that gunshot sound of the line breaking….

Hmmm, how I know this trick makes me wonder as I’ve never tested it out whistling whistling

Have pork ribs in the crockpot on medium for 12hrs so far, darn things are dry though..

Thinking about making toasted pulled pork samiches for lunch tomorrow, with kraut, dill pickle, cheese, sauce…. Hope that’ll make it juicy enough to eat.

Today was an experience! Went to the hospital for a battery of tests, and removal of fluid from my tummy, hurt like a biotch! Then testing started & was beyond nervous as it came with cancer testing, doc says cancer & cirrhosis can go hand in hand. Technology these days is amazing, they had several blood test results before I got home.

My numbers came in almost spot on, my sodium came up to near normal & all other numbers are great! I’ve no liver mass. They also dropped the cancer screening unless my personal doc wants it.

Far from being out of the woods but it’s looking like I’ll be around longer than thought. Now I can put the boots to wrong way rotflol

The cookies are not consumable imo, nasty.

Take out a fresh warm one & put it on a paper towel, the whole paper towel will soon become an oil slick.
