    One thing to consider is where you are located. I have never had an issue with the support from T.B, as I can make it into the store. Any of the others it would be via their website, or phone.

    I know going into their store, you truly order a custom rod; not one created for store inventory; or you can buy the pre-made ones they have on the rack also.

    Definitely, as stated they seal up nice and tight, and stay that way over time. Never had one pop open.

    I will also back up the comment on #260 rating. I have given them this test multiple times.

    If yougo the used route, cosiderreplacing the transducer as part of the cost. You don’t know how the previous owner treated it. The transducer, is what makes the unit well or not.

    Like those that have one, zero complaints. We use a 10inch in our wheelhouse. Chipper blabde is great for re-opening holes. We open 6 holes every time its used. Thermal protection will kick in, after maybe the fourth hole. Only when in thick heavy ice. By then, I am ready for a shirt break.

    Slush buster takes care of the majority of the slush issues.

    In a house of any type, electric of some sort is the only way to go.
