My brother is headed up there this weekend, so I’ll let you know how they do.

Did your brother have a successful trip to LOW? Would love to hear some details.

Would someone mind sending me a PM with the resort name? We are on our way up there next weekend. Thanks in advance

I would say jsut take county rd 2 in Frontenac to the boat landing. You will see people straight pout and as far north as a mile or so. Just be careful the farther north you go, the worse the ice gets. If you are coming from the Wisconsin side I know a lot of people drive out from Maiden Rock. I just pick the MN side because it is quicker for me to get there. I usually fish in the 20-23′. A couple of the lures I have found success with are jigging raps (blue/silver, orange), stop signs, macho minnow and lindy darters (hooked some nice white bass with these) to name a few. I have pretty much tried everything I brought out on the ice with me. Good luck if you get a chance to try it.

I would also like to hear from someone that may already own one. My buddy and I stopped at Canvas Craft last week to check them out. I really like the idea of the shelter and also the fact that you would have a trailer to use year round. the only thing i am having a hard time grasping is the fact that after you add extra holes to the 6’6″ x 12″ house you are probably looking at $4500 – $5000 after taxes and some other add ons you may want. If I spend that much on a fishouse, why not spend a little more and buy a nice sleeper. decisions, decisions.
