Fiberglass, 8-10 foot, MH or H. Graphite is no bueno in cold with the forces exerted by an esox.

I use some old Eagle Claw 2 pc Dipsy rods, big Diawa line counters and 100# superbraid backed by 40#mono.

I did one earlier this year. It took about a month to process and then I had to wait a few weeks, because they are so far behind, before I got my replacement.

You can call them if you have questions, they are very good to talk to.

Sheboygan or Port Washington would be better at that time of the year. The bite generally moves north as the season goes on. Manitowoc has always been a bit enigmatic as it has always been a better Lake Trout port than a Salmon port.

If you are also looking tho golf, Sheboygan is hard to beat.

Having owned one of those, I’m surprised it is still running. My 08 went through injectors like they were going out of style. You must have gotten a good one. Hope you find a shop.

That site is pretty dead lately unless you want someone lecturing you on the glory of trim tabs or sucking up to the mods. It used to be the best, but not worth much effort anymore.

Boats are hitting DePere. It’s on with highs up to 60 early next week.

You will hate manual tilt. I think T8 and T9.9 are the same weight or very close.

Make sure you sell it for enough to cover the difference in tax…. most times tax is calculated on the difference (selling price minus trade value) before any rebates are deducted. You have to sell privately for the trade value+ (tax on trade value) to break even…

I have a Kubota B2620. 24 acres. It is the perfect size for me. It can do a lot of work and is still small enough to store and trailer relatively easily. I run a 60 brushmower and pull a 72” disc with zero issues. The only time I have wished for more power was when I borrowed a 72” box blade, I couldn’t get enough traction when the box was full.

I can also run it for a weekend on 5 gal of diesel.

Make sure you get the SSQA Quick attach on your loader.

Working on a paving crew in college… after school each day these kids would come done the road and the passenger would hold open the passenger door and knock down all our cones… filled 3 of them up with asphalt and set them in the line about 10 cones in so he could get a good running start….. I will never forget the melodic thunks of those cones smashing into the door…

Also I used to love to crack open and eat cans of smoked oysters when we were on a jump in the Army. Summertime in NC, outside temps about 95 and sitting in a cramped C130 with the smell of jet exhaust and smoked oysters…. I’m fortunate to have an ironclad stomach… most people aren’t.

I heard they reduced the price, but it was the same as getting the 6.2.

I have one. Limited towing so far, just got it in October. Pulls the utility trailer and tractor, or atv way better than my 5.3. I am averaging over 26 mpg combined at 5500 miles.

If you do the dunk in the freshwater, pull the plug and fill the inside as much as possible. It is amazing how salt water gets in and on everything.

Leupold’s service is amazing.. I wouldn’t count them out and the vx-3 is much better quality than the Crossfire or the Diamondback.

You guys would be shocked at the trade value of late model trucks in good condition…. I ordered a 1500 Denali Diesel and expected to get about $20k trade for my 14… first offer from the dealer was $28k. I was in the car business for a long time and thought I was pretty good at estimating trade values..

I have a day 1 reservation so I should get mine pretty early. Trying to decide between colors and hard top/soft top. The Sports hitting the lot is helping to visualize the colors but they are a very different platform.

I was always an Oakley guy too until I got my Costas… the polarization is much better. I have the 480P lenses, the 480G made me dizzy.

I think either Maui Jim or Costa (and probably others) are good choices.

When I was in college I worked summers on an asphalt crew. One day as I was standing in front of a line of cars holding a stop/slow paddle when a brush mower in the median a few hundred yards away threw a cast iron disc (like a gas/water cutoff valve cover) which went through the handle of the paddle and the grill and radiator of the first car in the line….

I hunt with my son, who is now 14. We are stepping up from does, to any buck, to forked horns and this year we focused on ears wide and a real rack. Next year we won’t shoot anything that isn’t outside the ears. I let him pick the bucks… pictures are his first buck and this year’s.

I have the 824, it is a beast. I got it because my buddy that does commercial snow clearing uses the 724’s exclusively. He was across the street blowing slush onto my sidewalk and I couldn’t get through it with my 10hp Arians 2 stage.
