    Are they planning on dredging the landing during this time?

    Fished Dresbach most of the day. The morning bite was OK at best. This was my first trip out using BFT tackle. I’ve always fished with a jig and minnow and I’m happy to report I was able to land a 4lb eye using only my jig and BFT. This was my first time fishing all day without a minnow. It was slow day overall but the fish I did manage to catch were keepers.

    Thanks for the feedback brooktrout and amWatson. The technique sounds similar to vertical jigging. Do you also use a minnow when using a ringworm or superdo?

    Thanks for the info John.

    I’m also open to guides in the Genoa / Trempealeau area.

    If open water fishing isn’t available yet, I’m always willing to try through a small hole in the ice for some crappies.
