Good luck with your taste. Wife and I had it in 2020 the 1st go around we both loss our taste it was light turn off a light switch. I go mine back 4 days later again the light switch. My wife still doesn’t have hers back. Sometimes she thinks that she can sense some taste but still thinks that it is just wishful thinking. She has tried just about every home health remedy herb/oils etc remedies vitamin remedies everything that is the latest and greatest Nothing is working for her

FYI for boaters with I/Os. I left a plug out of an IO bilges kick
In all was pumped out and started worked great for a week trip. Water level did encompass starter i went to use boat a month later and starter sized up from water. Make sure you at least blow out starter and maybe pull to make sure water is all out.

I was drift fishing on the CO river with son and his father in law behind me in the back. The boat got real heavy to row and I looked to my side and we were taking on water the in-law kicked out one of the drain plugs so made a mad dash to the shore thankfully not in a but rapid area. S**t happens hopefully all ends well. Maybe I should add a bilge pump on that boat

I have still not learned to check all the boxes myself when it comes to hooking trailers launching boats etc. even with kids wife and guys who you would think know better. Too many plugs left out straps not unhooked couplers not attached correctly 5th wheel couplers not pinned correctly. I have made enough errors myself learned from school of hard knocks. My insurance and toys/equip. So my responsibility and insurance so I make it a practice to check everything before taking off. And still I screw up but have two 1000 gpm bilge pumps and have had to use them at times

There are multiple recapture systems in methane gas producing ventures ie swine farms beef production I have a partner in a HB that developed a company that designed and implemented systems to do just that. The feds paid tax credits and they got more $ for CH4 put into the pipelines Not sure how the future of that venture with the feds pushing an agenda against carbon fuel for US and trying to eliminate USs export of CNG. Last post I will make on anything related to CC and social realignment directions for this country.

Thank you for this venue for all of the expertise and experiences shared on all boating, fishing, hunting issues people have been very responsive to answering any questions I have had on these subjects

It is designed to “control “ the methane gas pollution “climate control “ mostly directed towards feed lots in CO. What did the US computer icon multi billionaire say we should be eating bugs (possibly not an exact quote )

Used extensively on ski in winter camping trips in the 80s&90s don’t have to worry about co and will heat up a pack in tent. We still carry one in emergency kit for mountain travel in CO. Great buy , gas equipment co concerns and alot of wt when pack in hunting seams like we still ended up with 80# packs. Horses or lamas easier but a lot of work taking care of. Those were the days

    My .02
I bought a garmin lvs32 system from reeds before vid inflation hit. My wife liked
it so much in the xover at ID lakes that she ok’d buying another one for myself to hole hop We both like it better than 10 aquaveiw. You can see fish all over see what direction they are coming in at observe their behavior on lure presentation and you can more than not tell what species +_. The second unit we got is a LVS34 and on the correct settings is cleaner than the 32. Of course I don’t tell my wife that. Reeds had some great ice combo units with the 93 head and good pricing point back then Reeds also gave me a credit on the garmin ice pole from their kit and I purchased the summit fishing pole set ups. I use the unit on the boat as a stand alone unit but it can be set up on the boat during warm weather. Summit fishing pole has a sleeve adapter so the pole can be mounted to a ram ball on the rail in bow or back. Great units both. I have seen the other two manufacturers on boats of buddies but not thru the ice. Garmin is better I my experience. Good luck

My wife has a 19 ST quad exhaust. Great rig. Alittle hard to see out of windows are kind of short. Great sensor locations. Two things to watch for you can reach 80-90 mph without even thinking also all wheel drive great in CO but it takes some gettin use to it started sliding due to bad tires and I instinctively tried to counter steer. Not the correct thing to do. there is selection switch for terrain changes and it helps on power transfer to front and back. I personally don’t like or use the sport mode paddles must be too old to appreciate. Good luck on decision and purchase

I was able to get it from MK tech support last year. I will look in files to get copy if you don’t have any luck w/ MK tech. That motor super sensitive to hitting structure like my ultrex but still use the genius on a river boat where I should buy a Ulterra for it

Thanks again for the info. Does anyone run ciscos. I like the ability to rotate entire tree and individual holders angles. I am trying to find something similar I am not running main planer boards off of them that those are on a mast in front seat pocket

Thanks Randy. My friend had a vertical tree I liked how it left room on the gunnels. I am trying to 10-15#s on a 5# boat but I think I can get it done with the right tools whe we’re in his 2075 Tyee

He preformed at the school I went to early 80 “DC” by himself. Real edging he was better with S$N. Liked him in the group on his own at least then a lot like the lion in WIzard of OZ. Maybe not enough natural herb smoked to really appreciate his music imho

Not trying to cheap out. “Resort” ok rooms not as “rough” (no criticism intended) as compared to the MN fish camps I remember from 40 yrs ago but not close to even a “leave the light one motel”. Anyways three yrs ago ,“ BC” , 2-bed rooms 65/ Just wondering what the rate increase has been up north. We have a place to go on rainy for free but enjoy the warmer weather in ID and hunting for the 16” perch and only 13 hrs instead of 24+.
    Thanks

Have a great trip the 5 wt is fine a weight forward floating line is a must in the west. Depend ing upon manufacture and model of rod you can get a line the is 1/2 wt heavy. A lot of talk about wt of rod. Makes a difference for sure but rod action is a big part. In the wind we will use a sage “one”. 5wt 9’. Especially from a boat. Have 10’ 6wts for corks We are headed up to the snake in the park on the 17 th. Hopefully I will beat them starting to shut off the flows. It is a picture trip for the wife and hopefully I day on the snake I get her some pics of bears and moose all will be good in life. The fly in trip sounds great

I would go with Gar. We have a place just south of Mountain Home AR and my parents live there now. Great location tremendous lakes and rivers. Within an hour of MH. Haven’t found any ice or large perch there yet So staying in CO for awhile more. although good eyes and warm water fish along with great river fly fishing below the dams.

We were invited but missed a gator cook out on the 2cd. Cooked like the pic. Guy stated all good to eat and kids kept busy with the head later. They had it on a big rotisserie wish we could have made it. I guess got off of Amazon

I guess I thought that MN was a “no fault “ insurance state. I had a friend get hit in a rental on the interstate in the twin citys area the rental insurance coverage paid for property damage. I got hit In MI a “no fault “state the guy got a ticket he totaled my truck missed my boat. It cost me 4000.00 to rent a uhaul truck and fly back 3 of my family all to get 500.00 tort from his insurance company my company had to pay for replacing the truck no other travel expenses. It would have cheaper to have totaled my boat. Thankfully KS isn’t a “no fault “ state. Guys insurance paid for fixing my Skeeter and truck when we got hit in the back with a Tesla that one was about $38500.00 cost for that one

And sorry for the loss of her dog. Dude we still need to hook up on a float this year maybe upper CO River if you are interested. Clad to see that you have picked up the fly rod. Throwing those minnow baits catch the fish We are heading for the Henry’s fork end of may to hopefully hit the salmon fly hatch this year.

Thanks guys. The mad bomber hat got the nod She has always been function over looks. Very frugal on stuff for her. Although she did let me buy anther livescope set up for her in the xover. I guess she likes to watch TV. She chooses that over dropping the Aqua view.

A lot of comments on perch lifespan. I pulled the cuttle bone out of a 15-1/2” one we caught and showed it to a fish biologist friend in CO and he marked the years growth rings for this fish. Not sure about other fisheries. Pull a cuttle bone out of the fish in fishery.

Correction on bone name just called aqua bio buddy. “Otolith bone” for aging fish. Sorry for the wrong info at first.

We run two LS unit I have them both on the summit pole system for both hard water and on the boat. I run the reeds shuttle system. Summit has an email add if you look down at the end of their website. Todd will contact you back and they are great about short orders. I love their pole system was using the garmin pole and saw the summit shuttle and pole systems on the lake 2 yrs ago. Thought the shuttle was large but the pole is great. Good luck and enjoy
