Don’t forget our buddy Jeff Trumar, at Tru Tied Tackle. Maybe not Ice specific stuff but he has done some custom stuff over the last few years
and may be worth reaching out to.

Had a day of pure magic on a metro lake in 2019. Super hot, pre front, and we got into a lot of big toothy critters. 38″ tiger, 38″ pike, 40″ pike, and lots of smaller ones.

Gin is just as bad as Rum. Sorry to see you leave IDO fishthumper. jester

I only had one gin drink that I liked and asked for another one. I don’t know what kind of gin it was. I do know it didn’t taste like pine needles.

This is a common complaint with a lot of Gins like tanqueray. Try a cocktail with bombay, hendrix, or another upper shelf gin and you might be pleasantly surprised.

hendrix gin martini, ice some gin in a shaker, place a bottle of vermouth next to glass, pour gin in glass, put vermouth back on the shelf.

Dark and stormies for us! Get good ginger beer (Bundaberg is my favorite at the moment and can find it on sale at costco), some fresh lime juice and a slice of lime, and your favorite dark rum (I think Goesling is historically the recipe but honestly who cares), and enjoy!

In the same boat. We also got two adirondack chairs from costco and they seem to have weathered the winter quite well. Costco does sell Polywood brand but there are limited styles and options.

Patio town in Oakdale has some nice stuff but most if not all sets have to be ordered and last we checked there was quite a bit of lead time.

No completely free ones, if it’s free for federal, you’ll pay for state. Just filed with TurboTax and it was $128 for both… better than me trying to scrounge up all the correct forms and documents.

Watch out for the hidden fees. TT wanted to charge $39 for some direct deposit option, having the IRS direct deposit into my account was free…

I’m guessing you signed up for Turbo Tax Deluxe (not basic). Deluxe has you enter all of your forms (like 1098-E) to try and itemize. Even if you end up taking the standard deduction, that “attempt” to itemize costs you $$.

The $39 you mention is an optional fee you pay to a third party to have the turbo tax fees paid from the federal tax refund instead of directly paying the fees to TT with a credit/debit card. The $39 is the fee charged by the third party who receives the tax refund from the IRS and then deducts the fees and send you the balance. Essentially you’re paying $39 for the luxury of them taking your TT fees out of your tax refund versus you having to pay it directly.

That’s what it was, pay the turbotax fees out of my return instead of just out of my bank account.

Lots of missing information here. What upgrade kit did you get and from where? Is it a bluetooth upgrade kit? If so, is your remote a bluetooth remote?

    This kit is legacy ipilot:
Minn Kota Power Drive V2 iPilot System 1866310

    This kit is bluetooth ipilot:
Minn Kota PD/V2 to BT iPilot Upgrade Kit FW 2774155-PD/V2

If your components don’t match with one of those kits then it’s not going to work.

If you provide more information it will be easier to troubleshoot your issues.

ahhhhh, you went to bass pro and found a couple rods and reels that you just couldn’t pass up… we’ve all been there… whatcha gotta do is explain that just like she needs different makeup and clothes for different occasions, fishermen need different rods and baits for different situations.

We’ve all been there, tough spot to be in… we’re pullin for you, we’re all in this together.

Keep your stick on the ice.

Been itching for a while now. Might have to take a half day wednesday. Has anyone been down to the 494 ramp to see how it is?

Couple other things to think about with changing to tankless. Where is it going to vent? They don’t use the same metal vent as older water heaters. And the vent has spacing considerations for where it can be located. Some homes installing the vent costs just as much if not more than the rest of the install.

Gas piping. There are gas very common gas meters and systems that are not designed for a properly sized tankless. They can be updated but just adds more to the bill.

I’d be listening to this guy… knows a thing or two i think ;-). Mike, I’m running a 29 year old hot water heater, everything seems to be working fine… do I need to be concerned about anything or just wait until she goes out? Any chance on getting 20+ years out of anything that’s out there now?

Olukai is a brand that typically has some high arch options. Not terribly sure where there might be some to try on but looks like they have a good sale going on now.
