uughh..I don’t know.I don’t like the part about sending a copy of the title.Perhaps contact a marina and seek there advice?
I also don’t like the fact that there is no contact info, just a name.I’d be VERY skeptical and proceed with caution.

I don’t know if it was an Indian collapse or a Redsox assault, but wow, what a comeback!(I was pullin for the Tribe).

This has the makings of a GREAT series though, the Rockies boast the best defense of perhaps all-time and the Bosox are solid, very solid.
Any time you get a chance to see Tim Wakefield (Boston) pitch, take it.A knuckleballer is a rarity and really FUN to watch. It’s a toss up as to which manager is more nervous when Wakefield pitches.Heck Wakefield has no idea where the ball is going, let alone the catcher or batter!

If you obtain a copy of Training Your Retriever,by James Lamb Free, you will be set.The first several chapters are devoted to the eight basic obedience commands that can be applied to any dog.You can disregard the retriever portion of the book or it would look COOL to see a Dane taking hand signals for a blind retrieve!!

    Good luck with the pup.

Wow bad deal.I’d like know how many hundreds of hours I listened to his color analysis for Jim Irwin.I’d be working and listening to the Packer games and when we SUCKED,Max could keep the broadcast entertaining. Then when we got good,Max was just a treat. His wry humor and sarcasim will be missed..

    Rest in peace Max.

In my view shopping PRICE on an oil filter to protect an engine worth thousands of dollars is using the wrong criteria.I want to know what a QUALITY filter is,and I’ll pay for it and smile.

Hey thanx to all….good group of guys here.
Her name was Gracie,an English Cocker that I drove to Buffalo,NY to aquire as an eight week old pup. That was six years ago.I picked her lineage because her Dam was the national field trial runner up that year (Millie). The breeder was a successful businessman who along with a handfull of others rescued the cocker breed. The English Cocker is once again a viable gun breed.

I’ve got NAPA Gold series on everything from lawn mowers to farm tractors, have you tried cross referencing ? No I don’t work for NAPA,the micron rating, bypass system and availability of their filters just works well for me.

I use NAPA gold filters, not the silver or any other. The gold filters have a relief return spring (as does any high end filter)that ensures you don’t bypass the filter if you get a pressure “spike”.

As to lubes look for NGLIC for grease and SAE rating for oils and gearlube,as long as they meet or exceed the recommendation your off to the races. For the two strokes refer to the TCW rating.

If the series does go Cleveland vs Colorado it should be a low scoring affair,AWESOME pitching vs AWESOME defense….I too tip to the Indians at that point.

The HPDI coordinates information gathered by engine sensors to adjust fuel delivery and ignition timing. Yamaha HPDI is unique among DFI systems because it uses an exhaust oxygen sensor to gauge the presence of unburned fuel. Unlike the Mercury Optimax and Evinrude Ficht DFI systems, Yamaha HPDI doesn’t run in a super-lean stratified mode at low-engine speeds, so it doesn’t match the ultra-low emissions and fuel-use levels of its competition between idle and 2500 rpm. Yamaha claims its HPDI motors meet the EPA 2006 emissions level without stratified combustion.
Well I got into this deeper than I had planned, but there it is.The only real time EFI system is HPDI,all the others are programmed or mapped systems.

As to “damage” or excessive wear, you’re fine.It takes a dry gearcase or almost all water to damage them in a hurry.(especially if that water freezes…owwiieee).Bein that your under warranty,I’d enquire but don’t get all shook up yet.

    my 2 pennies.

You got some good advice about testing.I don’t know if there is anything wrong with the oil though.A single OZ could be explained in a number of ways from too much when prepped to a slight amount of condensation. If there is water pooling up in the drain pan that’s one thing, but discoloration (especially on break in) wouldn’t get me too upset.Would you let us know what you find out? please?

Spark plug electrodes are totally consumed during a pass. After 1/2 way, the engine is dieseling from compression plus the glow of exhaust valves at 1400 degrees F. The engine can only be shut down by cutting the fuel flow.

CAUTION : do not try this at home.

Your response reminded me of something. One of the guys was from Ellsworth (a pro),and he was headed out to pre-fish for a tourney at Cleveland,Oh did anybody hear how it went for him?

If you truly want to know the market put it on an auction site such as fleabay. You can set a reserve price if you want to protect it.
