heard on the radio about a gas station in indiana that was charging $10(!!!) a gallon – how crazy people are getting!!! (also heard that 6 cars actually paid that price)

thats exactly what i was thinking –

slip bobber fishing sure does work well in moving water – float it past any hole and something is sure to bite – i use this tactic a lot for channel cats – but only on smaller rivers

I agree with mavzer in saying that bluegills and sunfish are the best bait, i have caught many good flats on them, but thats just my experience. there may be better baits for different seasons. but I also agree w/ rsunbehaun in saying that location is more important than the bait – all of these baits work but if youre not in the right spot – nothing will bite

The Fox River is located on the eastern sides of Wisconsin and Illinois – it reaches up into Wisconsin up near Lake Winnebago and ends down in Ottawa, IL. I live in Fox River Grove, IL, which is about right in the middle of the Fox, so i do much catfishing there. but there are many good camping and fishing sites all along the river . Again, i recommend the fox to anyone who enjoys catfishing.
