There is a video one you tube about a review of a guy that uses a 10 inch auger bit with the ion. Looks like it works good

I have no complaints about the ion x used it all day yesterday. Just pulled the battery off and put it in the shack out of the wind and no problems drilling holes as cold as it was yesterday.
