Planned to take my son Gavin who is 7 to the big pond for a day during his winter break. We are planning to go but this would put our trip over the top if we won this. Gavin could take a friend and hopefully make an awesome memory. Thanks for the opportunity.

Big crappie took care of me last year with a new ice rod. Loved the action and plan to purchase a few more from him this year. Really took care of me. I would sang this up if I didn’t spend all of my open water money the wife feels comfortable with on electronics.

True I should have opened the bale or reeled it up. Thanks for the condolences. I just didn’t like the feel of my st. croix rods after using the commander. Big learning moment.

I had my best outing to upper red lake last year using the pink uv, I did tip the front hook with a minnow head when things slowed down or if I had a couple of lookers. Seemed to do the trick for me. I am going to try replacing the front treble hook with a VMC glow treble hook this year (same size).

I have an ultralight and two mediums. Love these rods for the price. Go to the manufactures web site and you might find a deal. That’s what I did.
