First archery deer. My 4th season hunting with a bow and finally got one. Ive passed up many does and small bucks over the past couple years, holding out for a nice buck. This year my area finally allows two deer so I didn’t hesitate to stick a doe as soon as I got a chance! PUMPED! 20yds double lung, went about 50 yds. Whole different experience than shooting a deer with a slug

I’m all for the 2 lines and agree a lot with mossydan. Just because you can use two lines doesn’t mean everyone will use two lines every time they are fishing. Ice fishing I rarely use two lines but having the option to use two, well thats awesome if I want to throw a tip up out or something. Same with open water. In most cases I see my self throwing a bobber out then casting a rapala if its slow. Or jigging for walleyes when Im catfishing. It would be nice to have that option. Theres will always be the ones that abuse the resources, 1 line, 2 lines or 20 lines..

Hwy 218 south from Austin to Lyle. BAD. Lots of deeeep potholes, it takes a beating from all the trucks going to the ethanol plant.

The maps are online as well. Here is a link to the southern streams, shows all the regulations and other info too. Just click on a box and that map will come up with the PDF. Looks like you could get to a few streams in an hour and half.

Thanks everyone. Yeah she must have been spawned out, she was too skinny to be full of eggs. Would have been a heavy fish if she was still full. I wish I would have had my hat the right way, and sunscreen on, I got a NASTY sunburn.

Wallster- we put in at bay pt and fished a few dif spots from there up to the dam. Mostly draggin jigs, anchored up a few times. That spot seemed to be producin the bigger ones

Congrats on the 1 year! You should be dam proud of yourself!

I’m on day 13 without a dip and I’m feeling great. It sure is nice not to have the cancer in a can controlling me. Its getting better and better every day. I chewed for 3 yrs. I tried quitting a few times before, but the problem was that I wasnt quitting for myself. I quit because other people wanted me to quit or it seemed they wanted me to. This times different, plus I’m a member of an online quit group and that is really helping. Okay thats enough about my story.

I plan on buying a GPS with a Lakemaster chip in a couple months with the money saved. I have already saved over 40 bucks! Anybody wanna hook me up with good deal???

I have heard there is about 5-6 inches on most lakes. The bobber shop in mankato on riverfront would be a good place to find out about ice conditions.

I fish out of a scout most of the time so the buddy works best for me, the mr heater cooker just heats the scout up way too much. Fishing out of anything bigger than the scout, then I would reccomend the mr heater cooker

I second the buddy heater they are great. I too have the problem with the wind blowing out the pilot light and have thought of makin a mod to eliminate the problem. It would be nice to hear what others have done or a picture of it
