I have always got off the lake just after sundown in the fall do to the cold. I just needed some extra confidence to stick it out and see what happens. The lake I fish has a great trolling bite all through the night till sunrise in the summer. I will have to try it this fall season and fish at night,if I do I will post my results. Thanks for the reply guys.

My buddy has a echo boost and he loves it. He towed my wx 1850 3 hours and ran it almost empty, but we were doing 75 to 80 the hole way. The truck is nice but if I’m going to tow anything 8 cylinders all the way, and not turboes doing the work. But I am a Chevy fan

I have a 1850 and it would be nice if it had the back of a 1825 but I like the hull on my boat. As for the kicker, I have the tiller handle. I only fish muskies and salmon. I do not like the tiller handle. I wish I would of got the kicker without the handle, at the time of purches and install the cost was to high to have the extra throttle installed at the helm. At the time I did not about the troll master pro. If I was told all the options, I would have got the kicker without the handle and the troll master hooked up to the the kicker. As for the steering link to the big motor that is a must for me.

Only socks I use is smartwool socks, they wick the sweat from your feet. Gander mountain sells them. Stay dry stay warm.

When I went looking for a musky net, my son and I went to gander mountin he was 2 1/2 at the time. I picked him up with the frabil and it bent and stayed bent, then I picked him up with the beckman and it flexed but never bent. BECKMAN ALL THE WAY

So I think I will go with the hamby’s . With the money I would save how much would it be to have a swim platform installed.

How much did you guys pay for a keel gaurd professionaly installed, and how much for the custom cover. I was quoted 900 for the cover, nothing yet for the Hamby’s.

Is your locator showing a temp spot? If not go to your menu select tools and change your readouts.

The WX1850 front deck is 77″ long and 70″ wide at there widest points, Musky fishing is all I do, and there is plenty of room for two guys up front for casting. I don’t know what the MX measures out to be.

I thought you were against the hyd. because of looks, so how does it look back there, you got any pics of it on? How much did it cost? I am definattly interested on getting one myself. I really like the idea of getting on plane when it gets rough out their. Glad to here it helped on the porpoising issues.
