Thanks for the photo. I’m going to move down to the step where my drain plug is. My Ranger only goes up to 55mph. The sensor is suppose to be good up to 70mph. I’ll be happy if it still works at 50mph.

Thanks Birddog I appreciate the suggestion. That was my thought putting it next to the live well port. I have a break away mount for the transducer so it should be okay either in the water or when loading it on my trailer. Just bought a new Humminbird Matrix 67 with GPS. I really like it and will like it even better if I can get the fish finder to work at higher speeds.
