I’m running the Milwaukee M18 Fuel drill and spinning an 8″ Laser auger no problem. Spun off an adapter last year and dropped the auger to the bottom of the lake. A new Laser with a stronger adapter and I can drill 20+ holes though 12″ of ice no problem. The Laser being all steel doesn’t seem to have much effect on battery life.

    Works great!

Odyssey PC925 will do the trick. Might not fit without modifications but it’ll be worth it.

    ^^^THIS^^^

The stock Yuasa batteries found in most ATVs struggle to start machines 500cc or larger. You’ll pay a little more for the Odyssey but, it’s money well spent. Especially in the cold.

how accurate do you find that app to be? I have the same one and twice it has been off by 100 feet at least.

Last year I went to OTC. Thought I was over 30 feet of water on an inside corner. Dropped the ‘ducer and I was standing over 80 feet. Saturday was similar. Thought I would be over 23 feet but was over 40. I do realize triangulation off cell towers will never be as good as a gps but 100 feet?

I picked up a ’19 KQ 750. First thing I would recommend is upgrading the tires. The stock tires are cheap 2-ply. Had the same tires on a ’02 Suzuki Vinson and punctured one in bean stubble as soon as I got it home. Replaced the stock tires with a set of Kenda Bear Claws on the Vinson and my KQ I put Sedona Rip Saws on.

Finding the Rip Saws aren’t a great snow tire. But I’ll use them until I can replace with maybe the AMS Swamp Fox or Maxxis Bighorns. Both of these tires have performed well in snow.
