There was also a storm that rolled through in the morning too, not just wind. But overall it does seem that the wind wasn’t quite as bad as they anticipated.

We have had an accurate for a number of years. Pretty happy with it. Still using the same solar charged batteries to communicate with the indoor base display. The rain gauge self empties. What you need to do is glue a few 5” pieces of 80 lb mono vertically around the edges of the rain gauge to deter birds perching and then dropping seeds and poo into the rain gauge

I can see it happening. A few years ago I flew out of bemidji. Used my boat bag as a carry on. I had a leatherman and filet knife in it, unknown to me…..didn’t check it. The only problem I have with tournaments in general is how the contestants treat other fisherman that aren’t in the tournament.
