I have not seen any plowing for quite a few years, at least on the east side of the lower bay. No clubs or resorts to organize plowing.

Look at Capt. Anderson’s deep sea fishing Panama City, we plan on taking it next week. Decent price, not sure how it will go but hope it’s good.

Well I measured my old Otter 2 shack today, dimensions close but not right on. My height was 2 inches shorter and depth was 4 inches shorter than the xt650 specs I found. Length was the same. So it would be too big I think, fabic too loose maybe. Oh well, so close…

Tinker, I have the same purple shack and was wondering the same thing. I found these dimensions for the xt650..
    Otter 650XT Cabin Package Dimensions – Cabin: (2 Man) – Setup Dimensions: 64”L x 84”D x 72.2”H – Collapsed Dimensions: 64”L x 36”D x 23.5”H – Weight: 95 lbs.
I will check and measure my old one today, hope it’s the same size. Later…

I had 2 snaps that were coming off during driving so I replaced the bottom half of the snap. That’s the part on the boat, just reused the hole thats already there and it worked.

I have one and it works great for all panfish. 25 fish take about 20 minutes , perch maybe a little longer like stated before. Been using it for years.

I had the same problem when I went by myself. So I fastened with a bolt a large wood dowel about 2 inches long on the other side from the handle of the winch. I hook the mooring rope into the eye on the boat and wrap it a couple of times around the dowel and keep it tight. Then remove safety chain and remove tension on the strap while holding the boat with the mooring rope. Get enough of the strap loose to remove the hook from the eye and slowly let the mooring rope release as the boat slowly backs off the trailer. Works good for me, painted the dowel and bolt the color of the trailer.
