I recommend a size 12 swivel. 832 seems to need the swivel or it kinks up.. I also would recommend the 18lb

Wow I cant believe you have the option not to give the creel clerk all your info, measure and count fish. In Wisconsin its the law that you have to. Ive seen wardens stop people after not cooperating with the creel clerks and get cited when they had fish for the non-cooperation…

My boat came with the reliance 19 pitch.. I have full windshield tournaent loaded and got 49mph… WIth 2 guys it was ok getting out of the hole. If i had 3 guys it was bad.. Motor dug a hole and took forever to get out.

I have now switched to a powertech PTZ 4blade in 18 pitch.. Gets out of the hole much better and I get 47mph with 2 guys.. WIth 4 guys yesterday got out of the hole slow but ok. 43mph… But I was loaded to the max.. The powertech prop really is a good prop for this boat.

If i only fished with 2 in the boat I never would have switched. The reliance 19 pitch is a good prop for this boat.

Just wanted to follow up. I purchased the powertech PTZ4 18 pitch prop for my mx 1825. Boat performance with a heavy load is excellent. Gets out of the hole much faster. Handles very good.. Great option if you are carring a heavy load all the time. tournament load full tank 3 guys 5900rpm 57mph Hole shot not great but very good. Hole shot 2 guys amazing.. Best $450 i spent on the boat..

Is it possible to add a splice to add a quick connect. I could run the cord by the antenna add the splice.. when i need the antenna i could thread it on the rail mount and connect to rest of the cord… i could store the antenna in the rod locker.

I do not have a 1850 but I have a 1825 so close. Get the front and Rear Rails. for the little they cost its a no brainer. Even if you dont troll who ever fishes in the boat will put up their feet. With the rails if keeps them off the glass. 80 thrust minkota is fine with my boat. I-pilot if a must. I have a single axel also because of my garage.. It is fine. I realize the arguments for the tandam.. But if your boat needs to be moved by hand single is where its at.

I have a MX 1825 with the same Gel Coat problem. I have a f150 and a 9.9 kicker. I just took mine back in to my dealer for a fix at Anchor Marine in Appleton.

Make sure your pumps are straight up and down. If the pumps sit at a 45 they sometimes wont pump and get a airlock. Straighten up the pumps and tighten them up.. Mine does this once in a while.

The recirulate pump on the rear live well sits on back side of the livewell. Open up the hatch by the motor.. Bet this fixes your problem…

I own a mx 1825 the boat great. I never thought it would handle big water and it does very well. Yes its slower than the 1900. The 1900 is better with bigger waves. But its not as much as you think. But where the 1825 takes over is the fishability. This boat tracs like its on rails. If just fishes awesome. I think you need another ride and drive when its rough out. The 1825 will supprise you with how it handles the rough stuff.
