Everyone, CHAP here, (aka Lane Stockeland), thanks much for all the good advice! Greatly appreciated. As we used to say in the Army (BLUF) Bottom Line Up Front: I want something to see the fish, see my jig, and I want to be able to read the depth. I don’t want or need a lot of bells and whistles, but I do fish the St. Croix a lot, normally in 30 ft. or more, so I want to be able to see down that far, at least. Thanks again! CHAP is my nickname due to nearly 28 years in the Army, over 22 of them as an active duty chaplain. Proud to serve!
