Basseyes- I would agree with the ride vs. glass too. My 1st boat was a 17′ bass tracker deep v. Lot of good memories with that boat in Canada with my wife and daughter. Stability of the pro-v will be a welcome relief- I don’t need to peel the skin off my face anymore- been there, done that!

Bzzsaw- I would agree with all the above. Have had the same thing happen to me with our pontoon. Got my fiberglass bass boat rolled into a stainless prop fishing docks last year. I appreciate your all’s confidence in my Lund investment. Plan to have this as long as I can make it down to my dock.

Thanks guys- my stability on the water (or off) isn’t what it used to be (62 yrs old). This was one of the main reasons why my wife agreed to a new Lund Pro-V vs. another low profile bass boat. We figured to both fish & boat out of this for a much longer time, along with being drier & safer. And no fiberglass cracks to worry about!!

QW- here in Ohio we have several state lakes that stock a hybrid called “saugeye”. A cross between sauger and walleye. They can survive shallower Midwest lakes better than walleye and are just as tasty. With these and an occasional trip or 2 to Lake Erie, I will definitely be covered with this boat and my walleye fix.

QW- no, she is not single and I am an extremely fortunate man. She surprised me almost 20 years ago to the date with the Triton bass boat- now this?! She is definitely “My Keeper”!

Update- I was pleasantly surprised to find that my wife surprised me and leaped way over the aluminum prop question and agreed to a stainless steel prop, on the back of 200 HP Verado, attached to my new 2018 Lund 1975 Pro-V! Now, I just need to sell my 22′ pontoon and 2000 Triton TR20. Thanks everyone for your replies and input- good reading! Tight lines- LF. ><}}}>

All- Thanks for your responses. I have always kept an extra prop, pin, and wrench in my bass boat. Thankfully, have never had to use. Thanks again and fish’on.

Thanks Savage Brewer. Think I will keep the aluminum for shallow river fishing- buy stainless for lake fishing. LF

SuperDave- Hope your ss prop works out for you this spring. I’m sure my dealer will let me try ss props for the best fit.
    Thanks- LF

Did not know both props come with plastic hub instead of tearing up lower unit- NICE!

    Thanks- LF

MnPat1- I think that you and others have convinced me to go stainless. This was my feeling going in but wanted to hear from you all. I will be meeting with the dealer Tuesday and hope to talk them into supplying ss prop to finalize the deal. I agree with 150HP+ to supply stainless prop. Is 19 pitch Tempest correct for 1875 & 150 Merc 4 stroke?

All- Thanks for your replies & input. Good info.

Grouse- no problem, just trying to decide if I should replace the aluminum prop that comes with my new Lund 1875 Impact & 150HP Mercury. Very good point about replacing lower end vs. aluminum prop- Thanks
