Thanks everyone, as far it not bothering the fish I agree. My biggest issue is catching anything of size. I can catch fish all day long if I want to use them as bait lol. I have gotten decent crappie and sunnies out of this lake. I mean the sunnies are biting on 3.25 big fish n tackle moxi baits lol. But as far as walleye and bass even I can’t hardly catch anything over 15″. I have tried leeches, Lindy rigs, crankbaits, plastics. I guess thats the price ya pay for fishing such a popular lake. I miss northern WI lol.

Hi Joel- I have a 1979 sylvan boat that has a tm, finder, and 30 hp motor. Also came with an EZ trailer and paid about 2500 for it. Hopefully this helps some. also has a steering column.

Bass lake in st. croix county has a dock at the landing, very very clear water and reeds to the left. Out infront and left and right of the landing is about 4 to 6 ft of water for around 100yds. I have been pulling very large panfish out of here on accident on plastic minnows haha, as well as quite a few 11 to 12 inch crappie.
