Hey James, I sent you a PM on Facebook right away when I started looking I figured you had one. I ended up finding one the day before my trip.

I called otter directly and they were even sold out. I actually just found one that a guy is willing to sell me on my way up there! Lucked out!

Fargo is way to far out of my way, thanks though.

That’s my plan, I hear suckers are hard to come by so I’m sure we will be stopping at quite a few bait shops.

I’ve got one of those already, just wanted the resort for more room. Thanks for the offer though.

No such luck there either! I think my only hope would be to find someone that has one and wanted to sell it. I’m not thinking that’s going to happen either lol.

I have called most of the well known stores including both reeds locations. Everyone is sold out unfortunately.

Thank you guys! I use only power pro on my jigging rods and swear by it. I know pulling boards is a whole different animal. I’ll spoil them up with 10# mono and see if I like it.

Haha these were all spoonbills, we had just hooked up with a walleye and drifted off of our line into a deep hole. I about crapped when I seen the graph dropped down just to make sure because if I wouldn’t have I would never have been able to get it off my mind. About 10 seconds after I dropped down it was game on! Felt like I had hooked a log. I was actually pretty surprised to see it was a spoonie when I got it to the surface, I thought for sure they’d be sheephead.

Thanks guys, I have had an awesome month for walleyes. First week of March I was on erie and was able to pull 4 pigs in 2 days and now this one. Just this month I have caught my number 2,3,4,5,6 personal best walleyes! Number one came 4 years ago at 11.2 pounds on the Mississippi.

What access did you use Andy? Due to weather this morning we are looking for access points now, in the dark to fish tomorrow.

I’ve been through most of them, but you know how fishing is, changes daily. Was looking for some recent info.

Rahtbun, Redrock. Further west: Brushy Creek, Twin Lakes, Storm Lake, Big Wall and Blackhawk; and the upper Iowa great lakes of course(Est/West Okoboji, Spirit)
What part of the “eastern most” part of Iowa are you in? If anywhere near the Quad Cities, I may have a PM idea for you as well.

I am in Clinton, about 30 minutes north of davenport.

Thanks for the info guys! I think I’m just going to fish as I usually do this weekend and maybe plan a trip to LOW one of my next weekends off.

Hmmmm! I am not very thrilled to be reading this. My dad and I were supposed to be headed there on Friday to fish through the weekend. Only a 4 hour drive but it doesn’t sound worth it.

I must have lucked out, bought mine a month ago and haven’t had a problem yet! I am overly satisfied with it.

2004 duramax, 119,000 miles. She’s on my crap list though as it gelled up Sunday night.

Do you believe the camao played in to your success and maybe red blue or grey may have spooked them?

camo is a must have, haha! I’m a duck hunter so all my warm clothing is camo.
