For outside, it depends on your preference but a decent rod length would be from 30-36″. However, there are times where a 26-28″ rod is handy for them windy days (warm enough to fish outside but windy).

As much as I love fishing Red Lake, I just hate the drive even more. With such a bad start everywhere, I somehow manage to stay focus on other things till local lakes are good for the picking.

A lake that big (connected to Devils) is no honey hole. I fished there plenty of time and the fish, especially walleye and pike are plenty. That being said, every lake is someone sweet spot, doesn’t mean that it their private lake.

Also, I like to think that average Joe from MN are not going to venture all the way to Devils just for more than a trip or so a year. Fishing is good but not always great and a lake that big, can always throw you a curve ball.

Best thing for forum like these are to give accurate information to not mislead people to the wrong area but also to keep them safe. Also, from my knowledge, Devils Lake city area is thriving bc of fisherman and women who comes from other area. If it wasn’t for the great fishing, it will just be another small town in the Midwest.

I normally look for the coloration difference to tell the difference. White crappies seem to have these bars of black stripes (going up/down) while blk crappies don’t have these noticeable blk bars… But overall, white crappies are longer looking while blk crappies are more rounded.

Could it be interference from using the same unit? I know that with Marcum/Vex, you might need to adjust IR for this but normally works fine for 2 unit in most portable I fish…

Depending on the size of lures/jig you use, it could be good or bad. If the jig/lure is very small, you can notice more time before your lure hit the desire depth (just bc the line hold memory coming out of the spool and takes time to tighten). If it med/big lures (1/16 to anything bigger), you will not notice anything much.

Change my email and I lost my login info… But the last time I posted was when my LX7 went crazy after software upgrade which was about 1 yr ago. I purchased many times from you guys before, just not under my own name as we normally bundle from many guys for 1 larger order. Normally once every year before ice season starts.

Thanks for the understanding. I am picky on my lures. Anything that don’t produce/look attractive is toss. (Just my thought, the old style are proven, dont change them)

They be going out tomorrow am for those old model ones…
Posted bc I wanted to know if anyone else gotten these. Funny how this models alone disappear from Gander M. shelf while all other color and size stay there… Believe me, I checked many location before ordering, so it is hot!! In fact, I havent found any 1/8oz in clown in the last couple of years from Cabelas/Gander M. Last place I found and bought them at was at this small Mille Lacs bait shop.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at it. The wife use the phone as soon as I am home. So I doubt I see it till later (glad my phone bill is half after cutting down to 1 smartphone). But if this model is going out, might have to order more of it before it gone.

Thanks for the offer. I am just carious if this is the new look. I would hate to see this lure changed as it been one of my favorite… I dont use it much no more but I always dont leave the house without 2 of them in 1/8oz in my tackle… Old Faithful.

Also, I do believe the page showing 3d eyes…
