Finding them consistently on the weed line in the west metro lately. Some nights they like jigging, some they prefer plain hook. All 14-22″, 3-4 a night, they come in like a wolf pack all between the magic hour 5:30-6:30, thats the only time ive spent fishing I’ve found thinking outside the box has help. 12-15ft away from crowds around structure. Good luck, only a few more days.

I have slept overnight a few times in my portable. I have the exact portable, I believe its the one man, wide one. A few things that helped are the reflector insulation, make sure the cover flaps are well covered with snow so no wind can get in, picked up a cheap popup table to put in the front to store all accessories, and lastly cut out a carpet and lay that on the open ice. With that all done, its almost do-able with just a snosuit outfit on. Don’t leave the heater on, but crank up the bigbuddy for a bit on high with the fan and it should keep things warm.

Had the same issue over summer. Is your sink and laundry on the same line? See if your drain hole for the washer is backing up also. You could always rent a power snake at the depot for bout 35 and run it through plain w/o the bits should be able to clear that clog. With the power snake, you can also run it through the main drain, if you hear water swooshing in the main drain then its roots. If the main drain is dry then the issues is from sink to main drain. If its backing up or leaving black/dark brownish residue either up the sink or washer drain, you might have a broken pipe. In that case, skip the rest and ask for a plumber with a cam only to lesson the fee’s on calling a plumber out there, most will charge you for them to try and resolve the problem w/o even fixing the problem. The cam will find the location of the crack, jack hammer and some man power will be needed afterwards.

Had a similar issue this season also, what worked was I got some new gas, completely drained the bowls, and pumped about a quart of fresh gas through. Closed the bowls up and it now runs like new. Bad gas/water stuck under the float in the bowl was the culprit.

I agree twin lakes launch is pretty roughed up. Personal experience, 2 buddies came to visit and want to do a little fishing so we hit twin for a quick outing. Afer fishing I beached the boat on the right of the launch and jumped out into about less than a foot of water to go get the car. Before I even make it up the ramp, one of them dolphin dives into the water while getting off at the middle of the boat. He swore that water look only like a foot deep, misplaced footing and went for a swim.

hibachi grill and supreme buffet – I think is the one your talking about. Place is good. Stopped going to other places because of that place. Sushi is comparable to a decent sushi shop also. There’s usually a line.

That would work also, but not a lot of people have two desktops, usually a desktop and laptop, etc, in that case you need to find power for the hdd to run on laptop.

If you look on your mobo, power to it is usually on the opposite side of where the component plugins are, such as your network/USB/Headphone etc. Usually near the cpu is where the power to that one goes. ETC, google your mobo and you should find a diagram. If you do work on your mobo, make sure your working in a static free area and rub the power supply first to ground.

Cheap enclosures can be found at microcenter if you live close to one, south mpls. You can find them for about $5, nothing fancy but to get the job done through USB2.0. Just have to know how old your hard drive is, if its the older ones, its a bit tricky to find IDE’s. You will find more SATA type connections. Not sure if we can post links but check this. HDD enclosures

Bestbuy costs for computer parts is about an arm and leg.

I am assuming you mean your desktop pc is not turning on. If it doesn’t do anything, its either your powersupply or your motherboard. Even with a dead HD or such, you should get a startup screen or BSOD. Yellow amber light usually means overheated, power issues, or dead mobo. If its urgent that you need the data. You can pull the hard drive and pick up a HDD enclosure for $20 or less and read the HDD off a laptop or another pc. You would have to consider the type of connection the HDD uses, IDE or SATA.

Have not tried there, but decided to hit the narrows last night to check things out. One 15″ walleye. A couple of other guys also pulled out one or two walleyes. Might take the boat out tonight if things goes as planned. Fish are moving through the channels, just seems like they didn’t start biting until it was actually dark.

I use both Adobe products and Sony Vegas. Vegas would be an easier learning curve. Plenty of youtube videos out there to learn from, and even forums. I would think the biggest factor is storage since the price of HD are still on the upside.

If your not quick to purchase the software, keep an eyeout for deals and read up on what you feel will fit your needs between the different softwares. Do a google search for [H]ardForum and check out hotdeals. There are always people who glue them selves to different online retailers and post when there are specials, usually one day stuff and save your self a bit. Recently picked up Vegas 11 and a Blueray burner for $80bucks, free software with drive purchase. I recall there was also a recent Full Adobe CS Student & Teacher package for a hundred, a savings of 700bucks.

Forgot to ask, might help to post the type of system your running. All that CUDA stuff can be a headache.

Overall its a pretty good free Antivirus. Also you should look at Comodo Firewall, ranked up in the free firewalls. Lets you know whats going in and out, vice versa.

Another one I like is WOT, Web of Trust, lets you know good/bad websites. Google both of these, good free additions.

Beyond that you should be set.

I would probably just watch it cruise by. Just can’t stomach to lie the story of taking a worldclass buck that way. Will be a major loss of pride, if you have any, especially in a sport that I enjoy by not doing something legit. Gotta leave room for stories too, thats where the one that got away comes in.

you can. You can always find them for free, but only when the game starts since copyright and stuff. Quality is not that good, but it works awesome when your sitting in class and a good game is on.

Just google the game match and something with “stream”. What people do is host it on a streaming website so you can see their feed, live football.

There are lot of pay websites, but I don’t want to deal with that crap, usually consists of downloading and stuff. I don’t have the links here but I can probably post some links that usually have people hosting live football later.

anyone know how many boaters it took to get those numbers?

I had a budding, “who is not really into walleyess” sit and watch every boat come by, he said the highest number he saw was 71, they had the numbers stickied on their motor, so probably around that. I did see a lot of really nice looking musky rigs, them x190’s look sensational. Talked to the guy who was in 7th with one fish and probably is the same guy who took 4ths, fishing was tough but he did see some nice fish.

Try shallow. I went out cattin with a buddy and the sturges wouldn’t stay off. Were’t real big but biggest was 44 or something. Shallow I mean 10ft or less, not far off deep water.

I’ve canoed a few out times where I have come across thousands of these guys that cruised by me, looked like the discovery channel. Can we seine? dipnet? these guys to use as bait on the St. Croix? Or whate is a better method of snatching a few to use as bait?

My brother has one, TC model? Pretty good on gas. Front side is pretty wide, a little tighter in the back, but the back can easily fold down to create a huge trunk space. Good stereo system. Sun roof in the middle to back section. Good acceleration and braking. I think he said something like its the same engine as a corrola S engine, at a less cost. I believe Scion has their own contracts/financing options. He was originally looking at a Honda Fit but choose the Scion. He’s happy with it.

Sunday was extreme toughness. I was out there around 6:30 and the lines would not stop freezing to the guides. We did pretty good once we figured they wanted a smaller presentation. We lindy’d with a hook and minnow. Managed a 2 man limit this time of 15-18″ mixed bag. Fished between 15ft and 5 ft, most coming in shallow. They weren’t taking any hairs or plastics for us. The bite slowed once the sun fully peaked out.

Great information. I was pretty clueless when I was down there this past weekend as a firstimer. I bet it’ll another new experience this upcoming weekend with the high water. Will need to patch this to my forehead next time and maybe I’ll find some eyes besides carps and whitefish.

2 gallon sport water container from walmart. The one that you have the tighting lid and the little spout on the bottom. $8 and tough. Beats everything else, no spills, no leaks, fit quit a few dozen of minnows.

That monster cleaner stuff works great. Remember to check all Circuit citys, you can pick one up for less than $10, I think I picked up mine for only $5 due to the store closing.
