I brought it in. It the paint turned out like crap and when I questioned the linex dealer he said “it will blend”. I wasnt going to let someone try to repair it after letting me drive over two hours knowing that it looked like crap. Needless to say I had to buy special paint and repaint all of it myself which was an additional $200 in paint and materials. Im sure you can see the spots in question. I would do it myself if I had to do another. Definitely not impressed with linex.

Bow section complete. Waiting on new port and starboard side locker doors then I’ll be able to get the consoles screwed back in and the windshield reinstalled.

I ordered mine out of fisheries supplies. Check out the Coosa board website for a dealer near your location. It’s pricey but worth the extra as I’ll never have to do it again.

Marine plywood is great but for a little more money you can buy Coosa board. The blue water 26 is impervious to water and will never rot. I just did my floors and transom. Almost all of your newer boys are using this product or a similar product. No point in putting in the work to have it rot again.

Both motors back on, wired and plumbed. Now to hurry up and wait for the rest of the parts to finish…

Appreciate all the compliments. It’s been a lot of work. Well worth it in the end.

Transom from Lund was around $500 including freight, 4 sheets of Coosa was $1000, new seats, doors, hatch, vinyl for floors, carpet for walls, bow and sides, and snap in carpet was another $1200, vinyl wrap was $800. I’m about $5000 into it now. It’s not cheap. I’ve done all the labor myself except the linex which was $400. After pricing a new 19’ Lund I decided that $5000 was better then $115,000 to replace mine with all the electronics and both engines.

Just about got it finished. Waiting on new seats, new starboard and port side locker doors and another floor hatch (removed both front and rear baitwell, can’t have live bait in Idaho. Once I get those I’ll be back on the water with a almost new boat. Got it back from getting a vinyl wrap yesterday. I’m updated all the seats and panels to the pro v “limited” with the red piping. New consoles encapsulated with linex so the won’t crack anymore. Hopefully I’ll get some pics in a few weeks when the new seats and doors arrive. It’s a custom Lund “patriot” a 2005 with 2021 parts.
