John- Not sure what the Dam has to do with my question? The water levels fluctuate throughout the system which temporarily opens up spawning areas that are further downstream only to be dried up after the water level recedes.

Fished tonight till dark. Action appeared to be steady near the dam around 1pm then totally shut off. We caught our fish using plastics w/meat. Caught a respectable 22″ sauger, buddy caught a couple biggest was a 23″ female. Very slow, I think we jumped the gun this week but it was nice to be out nonetheless.
