Let’s hope it’s not as severe as last time! It messed the lake up for a long time. The tullie population was wack for 5 years.

    Let the melting begin.

    Shannon

wasn’t that flood during the summer? I remember we got like 14 inches of rain in 1 week, not sure what year that was, maybe 2012. I had bluegills swimming in my yard on fleming lake.

I have been subscribed now for 43 years, used to get it when I lived at home with the parents, then when I moved to my own home later in life. I read it at work during lunch breaks, other than that I never read it. I always read the cuffs and collars section, and the top stories. do miss gary clancey, he was the best.

they did not play well tonight but got the win. the wild just seemed slow tonight, and the puck never seems to bounce in the right direction for us all year.

I would rather see gordon at short next year, that would open up plenty of cash for many players.

I am glad that he is leaving the twins, 35.2M per year opened up for much better players.

I guess my point was, it should be pro-rated on how much you make. I have no problem receiving nothing, but thought the wage cutoff was a very stupid way to do this.

I was denied because I made to much, really! I had to work, and I contracted covid while at work. the only reason I made to much, is beacuse I sold a piece of property that I had to include into my taxes as income, which I owned for 25 years. so your saying if I made 85,000 last year and get nothing, but made 84,999 get the full amount, something is really wrong with our system there walz.

fleming is good for crappies, not much for size, but plenty of fish.

I was at the st cloud sportsman show looking at pontoons, one dealer said that all pontoons ordered won’t be in till september. who wants one then, so you can put it away for the season. the price of boats is crazy, no way I will buy another, my 2008 skeeter is still good. people need to stop buying these with the current crazy prices, then the price will fall.

we did our annual trip to andy lake resort, north of sioux narrows every year the 3rd week of january and chased nothing but lakers. andy lake is a walleye lake, we rode our sleds to many near by laker lakes and did very well. caught lakers through the ice up to 17 pounds. fishing lakes dryberry, hillock, winnage, and gibi. dryberry more of a trophy lake, and winnage and gibi numbers lakes.

my avatar is on gibi lake

I also did the survey, I don’t care for wake boats, but I said they should be allowed on bigger lakes away from shore and other boats, then I think they would be fine.

yes I agree that enforcing this would be a issue. I guess we just have to wait till this fad goes away.

we canceled both thanksgiving and christmas this year, it has nothing to do with the governors order, we just thought it would be better this year. I am going up to the cabin on thanksgiving and doin some grouse hunting.

slush has frozen on the smaller lakes in the area, good travel for sleds and wheelers, depending on the snow depth, trucks also using the lakes where plowed.

on my lake in palisade, from nextdoor, 6-8 inches of solid ice, then slush, then 3 inches of frozen slush. and they had 6 more inches of snow since. bad lake travel, must use a snowmobile. this is on a smaller shallow lake, so the bigger lakes will much worse.

twins have done for years, and will continue to. we wait till all the good players are gone, and we sign the scraps left over.
hopefully they are saving money on this to sign Donaldson, but I don’t see that happening.

that sounds bad for big sandy, with this weather coming, warm, rain and more snow, the ice may not be good for some time. thanks for the update.

more bad news for the wild, zucker out 6-8 weeks, broken leg. the injury bug has hit this team bad this year. he actually started playing better, scoring on some breakaways of late.

I have fished both lakes plenty, cedar is a nice lake, but it seems that you cast many more times to catch fish than other lakes. I did get a large musky on cedar. gun lake is much easier to fish, and you will catch many pike, and size is acceptable. as far as walleyes, both will give you trouble, big sandy or minnewawa are better. panfish on gun is better than cedar. good luck.

it goes on and on, all services at one time or another will have this happen. I have had directv, dish and spectrum cable, all three have this come up from time to time. I currently have spectrum at home, and have lost epix and cinemax in the last couple years, that’s with a package that supposed to have every channel. I dumped dish many years ago, I think it was fox sports back then also. I have directv at the cabin, which has done nothing but increase rates every year. its a monopoly all three no dought work together.
