    Well got my first lakers through the ice! Was fishing in about 120’. My bro had one chase all the way to the hole and watch it swing and miss 3 times on his jig! Awesome experience! We will b fishing till 1130 tomorrow so hopefully a few more!

    Also we marked a bunch of fish on the bottoms in the deep but they were very sluggish and would just come up a foot or two. Any idea what they were?

    Came up today after a long wait and only had 2 follows with 1 strike. Came out at around noon any tips?

    Any body ever use tip ups for the Lakers? If so is there a certain depth/bait to use?

    Appreciate it Tom! We don’t really care where we fish just wanna catch some lakers/cohos through the ice. I’ll check back in here Tuesday to see how tomorrow’s wind effected the ice. Thanks again!

    Hey guys new to the forum. Been trying to get up to Duluth for lakers and coho’s for a long time. Me and my bro have next weekend off what are the chances the ice stays for our trip?
