    Thanks for the replies.

I knew that the Albert Lea area lakes got really bad. Assume that is a lot of why were never see any boat traffic when driving through. Hoped to find some water to have a good day of fishing and explore some new territory.

How was your trip? How was the bite for you?

It has been 10 years since our last trip. Mostly stayed on the east side, fished all over the lake. We are heading up the middle of August and am not sure what to expect for fishing. In the past, we would go the middle of July for a family trip and on occasion the wife and I would sneak back for Labor Day weekend.

Had a hard time finding a tire when at Leech Lake several years ago, before Amazon was a hit. The local tire shops were not any assistance and I ended up paying a little more at a marine dealership. Made it easier for me…so I could continue fishing.

Switched from a Moto X 2nd generation 2 years ago to an Iphone8. Have hand no issues. Like that Apple continues to do updates. I’m very happy with the Iphone. My wife and I tend to keep our phone for a long time.

My wife went from Moto X 1st generation….to the Iphone10, didn’t like it and went for Moto Z3. She swears by the Moto products.

An extra step…you could snap a pic, with your phone, of the paperwork. That way you have proof of the sale, for your records.
My dad got parking tickets for a car he traded at a dealership, when it was abandoned on an interstate.
A used car dealer I traded with actually made copies one time and advised me to keep them just in case. Have done this with private sales ever since.

Have heard of them but, never tried them. Years ago a cousin who lived in northern MN said he would put a loop of duct tape on his cap when he went to mow.

As long as they are a comparable product, I would. I could have saved a lot of money by driving 2 hours to Fleet Farm when I had a blow out.

Enjoyed seeing all the view points here. While we are not living in fear, we have scaled back where we go and what we do. Iowa opened up rather quickly and then we started seeing increasing test rates in my home county with a college population. The same for the Iowa City area. While younger people have an easier time with the virus and since many of us don’t know people with an active case, feel we won’t get it.

Based on what I have read, I believe masks provide enough protection to warrant wearing one. It is the right to wear a mask to for the protection of others more so than myself. I feel it is right to do so and hopefully we can avoid another shutdown.

We did really well for 3 and 4 pound northerns in Boy Bay east of Bear Island, 2 weeks ago. You have to be mobile. Didn’t get anything but, northerns, perch and rock bass.
