I had a hand Eskimo auger to start but now I have the Stingray power auger. By the looks of the picture, it sure looks like he put the hand auger blades on the power auger. I think if you switch the blades it should all work fine.

Hope that’s all that is wrong with it and it works out!

It doesn’t start. The pictures below show where it’s leaking.

Crappie guy, I’m originally from the Watertown area. Not to far from mound. If you are looking for some other small lakes that way let me know. I only fished waconia once last year and it was the day where there was about five inches of water and puddles everywhere. Don’t really have much on Waconia but if you’re searching for smaller lakes in the area that will be fish able sooner let me know. Hope we get some ice soon cause the itch is at an all time high right now. Good luck this year.

Any thought on postponing this due to the weather and lack of ice?

I have an older dave genz “clam trap II” 2 person flip over that id be willing to give you if you want. ive used it for the last 5 years and it does the job but this year I upgraded to an otter. I was going to try to sell it but id rather give it to a new comer interested in joining the ice fishing community. PM me if you are interested.

If he doesn’t want that portable and you’re still looking to get rid of it, I may be interested.

Sheephead for sure! Easy game and rounds are short enough so if you get a bite you can get it while having some fun and knocking back a few cold ones
