One more thing, use low range if you have decent load on the machine. Less strain on the drive train. I have blown a drive belt pulling a fishing house in high range at WOT. I did put a clutch kit, its what they recommend when you install larger tires which also puts more load on the drive train. The clutch kit which decreased belt slippage. My 570 has power steering and it helps. They also increase your turning radius lots.

I have tracks on Polaris Sportsman 570. They are lots of fun in the winter, I have yet to find anything that would get it stuck. I have got it high centered on logs in swamps, time for a winch. They do take a fair amount of power to turn. My top speed with tracks is maybe 25 mph. I have had them on since 2015 and have yet to break anything on my machine. The idler wheels take some yearly maintenance, follow the oem directions. I would recomend checking with https://www.atvtracks.net/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA95aRBhCsARIsAC2xvfxcYM0YqqP2-HlXMu-PALSQUiNrDXbHlLpmIpqFvlMs_oOzS78VCNcaAv_LEALw_wcB
They seem to be the authority on track systems. I have the Polaris Prospector Pro tracks, the Camso brand have stronger frame.

You can view all of Navionics Charts online on the Cartviewer page https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en#boating@6&key=kuatGrovvP
Make sure you click on Navionics symbol lower left and select the high def SonarCHart Layer.

Depending on the area you fish you could go with Navionics+ regions which is preloaded Or Hotmaps Platinum which gives some other features such as shaded relief, satellite overlay

If you fish outside the region lets say the north area you can get Navionics + US and Canada, you just have to download the SonarChart layer for the lakes you fish or frequent.

When you get the card plug it into your computer and register and update it with all the most current detail or data.

Every lake map is going to be different, lake by lake. You can preview Navionics mapping online https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en#boating@6&key=gdapGfskwP
Make sure to view the high definition Sonar Chart layer by clicking on the icon lower left corner and selecting the SONARCHART layer.

When you install the card in a your sonar make sure to go to the settings and select Sonar chart or Fish n Chip depending on manufacture or software version.

Navionics+ regions and Hotmaps Platinum have SonarChart layer installed already but make to plug you card into to your computer and update the sonarchart data.

Navionics+ US and Canada you have to select an area and download the Sonar Chart layer for the lakes or area you are fishing.

The same Data is available on the mobile app.

They do have a Trade in and up program Trade In Rebate.

I have used Navionics for several years. This year when I renewed, I was sent a new sd chip (storage disk). After loading it, I went into setting it up on my Elite 7 ti. In the settings for sonar, there is no place to select “fish & chip” now. Am I doing something wrong?

    Tom

They switched it from Fish n Chip to SonarChart, to simplify things between the mobile app which used the term SonarChart. The differnce between the Navionics base map, SonarChart turned off. The SonarCHart layer is the mapping layer that changes as sonorlogs are uploaded to Navionics, they then review the logs and then processed into the SonarCHart layer. This is what you update when you update your mobile app and mapping card. you have to re subscribe yearly to this.

The LCX is going to be a problem due to the age and processor speed. The size card in MB will be the issue.

Did you go to the Navionics chart previewer? https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en#boating@6&key=ssooGzmbxP
Make sure click on the sonar icon on the lower left and chose the high Sonar Chart layer

You can log sonar upload to Navionics and they will process the data to download to the map card. Navionics+ covers all US and Canada
