Had an Aqua Traction floor installed in Clearwater by factory last year. Hated the carpet in the boat and the floor without carpet was just to dang hot. Price really depends on how fancy you want to get. We did a custom pattern and some additional cut ins in the pattern along with tapes down each side of the boat. Boat was done in 2 days and would never own another boat without it. It is not slippery, not hot and actually provides some fatigue relief like stress relief mats do.

Mounted one late last season in my 2190. I don’t use the front baitwell or the back baitwell in my boat and have removed the water lines to prevent someone from turning them and getting stored things wet. We mounted the wash down pump on the flat spot inside the back area with the pumps and everything on the side next to the baitwell. Pulled one of the skimmers for that baitwell and redid it to draw water for the washdown pump. The hose connector is mounted in the back facing area of the splash well and works very well. When the hose is connected it will ride in the splash well and never moves when under power. We took the water fill out of the side of the baitwell up on the top inner side and that is where we put the on/off switch. We used a oversized large rotating switch so that it won’t get broken off with people putting planer boards and such in that compartment.

Works great. Royal pain standing on your head in a very small hole to mount the pump. Was a 2 man job for a lot of it. Very pleased with the results. Don’t have any pictures and boat is in storage currently for a few more weeks.

It does not come with the transducer or the power wire. Located in Minneapolis area.

    Mitch,

I have a 2015 2190 with a 300 Yamaha on a jackplate, 9.9 kicker and my batteries have been moved back under the jump seats. Just ran a new Mercury Bravo LT 19 pitch prop on my trip to Erie. I did not time the hole shot. 3 guys, full load and gas, full live well. RPM was 5700 and ran 54 mph. Hole shot was was really good. The entire boat comes up, instead of just bow lift. I was able to stay on plane in 3 footers at about 16 mph. Had the vent holes plugged, but have the vent kit and will play with the plugs. Hole shot should improve.

Best 2 props I have run on the boat are the new Bravo LT 19 pitch and the Yamaha 18 pitch saltwater for what I am looking for. Better control at slower speeds and out of the hole. I like the Bravo for the type of hole shot without the bow rise.

Side note, it has taken me 3 years to figure out how to drive the 2190. The hull is different than my Rangers were. I start with the motor all the way down and then as soon as I am up I raise the jackplate to about 10/11 and then drive the trim tabs down all the way. It allows for a much better ride in waves. Was leaving the motor buried in the rough stuff and the bow was all over the place.

    Skeeter 20,

My motor is mounted in the top hole on the jack plate. So numbers for the 21 M that I gave are accurate for the way my boat is set up with weight in the top hole. Have discussed props with Formula Propeller in the Twin Cities and they suggested a Turbo Lightning 19 pitch prop. Turbo is now owned by Yamaha and getting props has been difficult. If anyone has one, I would like to try it and would be willing to pay for shipping to try it. Same goes for a 20 pitch Yamaha Pro series prop which is not made anymore.

Met Ricky this weekend. Good guy. That is who we met with to try all the props above. See if he will send you the 21 pitch Yamaha Pro to try.

Tested multiple props yesterday on my 2015 2190.

Boat has a jack plate, batteries have been moved back under the back seats and battery storage in belly of boat has been converted to tackle storage.

Conditions, sunny and calm, wind about 5mph out of the NW, 5o degrees.

Boat has a full livewell, full gas, 2 guys and fully loaded with trolling gear from Erie trip.

Prop 1- 19 pitch Bravo LT long tube 4 blade stainless
    RPM’s 5800 Speed 54 Holeshot was so/so

Prop 2- 20 pitch Bravo LT long tube 4 blade stainless
RPM’s 5600 Speed 54 Holeshot about the same as the 19

Prop 3- 20 pitch Bravo FS 4 blades stainless
RPM’s 5800 Speed 53.4 Holeshot was better than the long tubes

Prop 4- 21 pitch (21M) Yamaha Pro Series 3 blade stainless
RPM’s 5800 Speed 53.4 Holeshoot was the best, no bow rise at all
Was able to run this prop up much higher with the jack plate and the boat was not all loose that high up. Surprising.

I understand that they used to make the Pro Series in a 20 pitch. Would like to try that if I can find one. For the way I fish, I will run the 18 pitch Yamaha Saltwater for now for 4 people in the boat. More concerned about holeshot and control in big water than speed.

    Ed,

I don’t know about the Rev 4 and load. I ran an 18 pitch Yamaha saltwater last week on Erie with 4 guys, a ton of gear and full livewell. RPM’s were 6100 when I got to get on it one day and top speed of 53MPH. Was very happy with the holeshot with the load and handling in the waves.

I am looking at some 4 blade props next weekend and will let you know if I find anything better, but for now, the way I fish. The 18 pitch is it for me.

I am still looking. Ended up sticking with the Yamaha 19 pitch saltwater. I tried a 20.5 pitch Bravo LT. Hole shot was good, but would blow out when steering. I am going to meet Ricky up in Brainard this spring and run some different props same day and same conditions. I am guessing I will end up with either a 20 pitch Bravo LT or a 17 pitch Rev 4 that has been worked. The Yamaha 18 pitch saltwater is also an option.

Can you take a picture of the thrust washer?? Side and on top. That is what is keeping the prop from seating all the way. Someone may have returned the kit and it has the wrong thrust washer in it??

I do have a 300 offshore. I thought the same thing. One of the dealers I stopped at had the exact same kit except his tag included the 300 on it also. Left a voicemail for Scott at Mercury props and will hopefully here from him today.

Got the prop and went to put it on. The flo torque kit that the computer says for the prop pushes the prop out so that the cotter pin hole was not even showing. Those that have run the Braco 1 prop. What kit did you use with the prop?

Picture of the kit I got. I stopped at 2 different dealers in the way up north and they said it appears to be correct according to the computer.

Update, just got word that my new Bravo 1 LT 20.5 has been backordered and ship date is now pushed back into end of next week. Hopefully will come Thursday, so I can run it in Canada, highly unlikely though. Will update when it finally shows up.

Don’t have the new prop yet. Talked to Mercury props last week. 2 weeks from order to make the prop. Should have it end of this week or beginning of the following week. Leave for Canada on the 16th and would like to have it to play with up there. Will give me a chance to work with it and the plugs to see if it is the correct prop for the way my boat is rigged.

Had Skeeter Boat Center install an FM/AM XM radio in my boat. We ended up installing it on the drivers side under the shifter. Also had 2 extra speakers put in on the front deck. Can’t hear the radio when up there with the normal speaker placement. Has worked out very nicely. Have football and baseball games on XM anywhere I am. Did not do a CD player this time. No pictures, but can get one for you if you are interested. Cal at SBC is the one who helped me figure this out and purchased the radio for the install.

The guy at Mercury told me that the LT(long tube) is designed to create more bow lift with the longer tube. Still has the vent system in the prop, looks something to play with and dial in. I have the batteries moved back and under the back jump Seats as well, so will impact results as well.

I have a 2015 2190. Running a 19 pitch salt water prop on the boat. RPM’s are about 5700-5800. Could be higher, but every time I am on the water it is rough. Hole shot is good with the prop, but interested in better hole shot and feel that there is more on the top end with the low RPM’s. Talked to Mercury racing prop folks and they suggested the Bravo 1 4 blade. The gentleman talked initially about the FS series of the Bravo prop, but then suggested the brand new Bravo 1 LT that has just been released. He feels the longer tube will provide more lift to the boat and improve the overall performance better than the FS would. Have a Bravo 1 LT 20.5 pitch ordered. Waiting. Making them as they are ordered I think. Will post results in a couple of weeks.

Have owned both boats. Both boats handle big water well.

I feel that the WX2190 is better in big water because of the hull design and deeper sides. The Skeeter pushes the spray out further and the windshield is taller, so you get less water coming back at you when running in the rough stuff.

I would test drive and crawl through every boat in the size that you are considering and let that help you make the decision.

I agree with riverrookie in that dealer that you purchase from is very important. When looking last year SBC put a WX2060 and a WX2190 side by side in the heated bays so that I could climb from one boat to the other to compare and let us test drive them as well. Never offered that anywhere else.

I have used both of the dealers mentioned here. Personally have had very good luck with Rapid Sport in Ham Lake. Would not take my boat to Frankies.

Don’t have a windshield for you and my casting deck is 48ish in a dark grey carpet. 619 must have been a couple of inches narrower than the 620.

    Hoppy,

What color is your carpet. I have a casting deck in the garage that was for my 2000 620. Measure the width between the 2 side lockers and I will see if it would fit.
