    steel rusts but where steel and aluminum meet they oxidate and aluminum panels move around in the summer with heat so watch roof panels for leaks

    i have ice 55 my buddie has lx7 both work great 55 has a depth graph that we use for quick depth checks but the lx7 has a better read on fish at the bottum 1 ft i would go marcum if i do it agin ,

    i have a ice 55 work real nice that is a good price , they a are real good pepole at krueger farms dealt with them a few times with only good to say about them

    i have had lots of augers over the years from my grampas first eskmo to hand augers but i must say my nils has been the best the only prob is they dont have 10″ i hear they will make u one tho

    i use black air hose line because of same problem have had no problems yet in 10 yrs

    i have had jiffy, eskimo , and a nils now and i like the nils the best once it has been broke in and ran for 1 season

    the ice been sckechy out there a permant shack went in on fri night lots of water spots up on the ice that lake has a lot of current and they drained the lake to a new winter level so the south end is dry just watch where u play!!! there has been 6 to 8 inchs but not much travel

    i would guess ice a thin layer does that to mine even after 10 holes the ice still dont come off if u heat it up it seems to be back to normal. Get a otter auger cover to protect it those nils covers are not to handy and if u put it in that on the ice after use it seems to melt off in the case

    amsoil is what i like it is smokeless it comes in a premix packet add to 1 gallon of gas i have had no trouble it is not that exspensive

    i have had simalar thing happen to me on a differnt coat but it was the coat getting wrapped tight around the dam auger in the washer drum and it just chewed it up. it is good to know thought i may wash my suit will be way careful
