    Sounds good! Thanks for the info, especially about the ramps, much appreciated. We’ve been fishing pool 4 most of the winter and looking for something different, I guess you kind of take it for granted when you can make it down there for a day trip most weeks. We’ll either be in a camo 620 tiller or a blue 621 if we see you we’ll cruise by and say hi. Thanks again!

    I picked up a couple of the st croix eyecon series rods last fall and love them for vertical jigging 6’8″ mlxf. Definitely not the rod that my legend elite is but for 1/3 of the price they can’t be beat, but I couldn’t imagine going back to a 6 footer or less. It seems like with a longer rod you can get an extremely fast and sensitive tip but still have the backbone there for the larger accidental catches

    I would definitly go with the REC guides, the other nice thing about them is that they are a lot more forgiving when it comes to bending the guides a bit.
