This is the current transducer on the boat:

Appreciate input from everyone. I will try the reset and make sure software is up to date as well.

It’s a through hull SI transducer. Sorry for the confusion with the transom verbiage. I talked to Humminbird, and they said the first transducer listed (ie… can’t scroll left any further on the Helix) should be the one to use. That selection is “MEGA”, which doesn’t solve the problem.

Thanks for the input. I really like Amped Outdoors lithium batteries for other applications and saw the statement on their website that discouraged lithium for cranking batteries. If going to a 5-battery setup, would it make the most sense to go with 3 lithiums for the 36V trolling motor, an AGM cranking battery for the motor, and then another lithium for all electronics? Just keep the electronics completely separate on another lithium (4 12″ graphs and Livescope)?

A bigger aerator stone will also extend battery life – less resistance to pump through. I changed to the linked stone below and at least doubled the run time of the original Engel aerator.

Thanks everyone. 2016 Denali pulling 621 had safe weight at the hitch with anywhere from a 4 to 6” drop using the Weigh Safe hitch to measure tongue weight. Appreciate all the feedback and wanted to follow up.

Any further word from Garmin on this? I also have an EchoMap Plus Unit and can only update to 13.3 version which does not provide the ability to remove the onscreen gain and depth controls at the bottom.

I’ve used the boxes with foam cutouts. Vibrations from travel or rough waters have proven to be a challenge. Often end up with a big box full of tangled Jigging Raps and Shiver Minnows. I’m curious about the B&B bait boxes. Anyone have experience with them (link below)?

I bought a new Strikemaster 40V about 2 months ago from Cabelas. Have drilled <300 holes probably and now when attempting to drill through minimal ice (~5”), the power head fails to spin. I have checked the connection to the bit and that is fine. I have tried new and freshly charged batteries as well. Seems like with any resistance beyond spinning against air the drive from the power head fails to spin. Has anyone seen this? Also, is there a direct number to Strikemaster customer service or do you have to go through the Rapala/VMC online request. Appreciate the help.
