I have heard great things about the Savages also. After 15 years of slug guns, I bought a Remington 700 muzzleloader. It is amazing what muzzleloader can do now days, groups like a rifle.
Very low, they got a Glastron in 96 for pulling tubes. The last 10-12 before me it was getting out of storage every 2-3 years. Under the cowl looks factory, no oil or grim.
I have a couple old ones, maybe 10 years old. Best cameras ever maybe two sets of batteries in a year and 1000’s of pics. The cold winter weather doesnt kill the batteries in minutes like my old ones. I would never go with any other camera now.
I have three fresh sheds so far, but they only add up to 35 inches. If you have private land that there is no worry, wait til march. Public land around here has become so bad, guys start last week in december.
This happened to us a couple months ago, my dads new coon dog jumped out and didn’t get ten feet off the road and hit a conibear. It was on public land and we called the dnr and he said that’s totally fine. They were lucky enough to be close and a couple guys and got him loose. After that we all looked at how to get a dog out of a trap. When everything was done they noticed that there was two traps in the ditch and the second trap had a coon in it, so the dog was doing what he was supose to.
I have a CVA accura and its a great gun. A lot of guys in are group have cva’s and they shot good. The one thing I wouldn’t change is break action for easy loading and cleaning.
I don’t know a lot about glocks either, but I have been researching the xds and that will be my next gun purchased. How many rounds have you fired thru the xds Josh? And problems?
Went out on Monday and found about 25 tiny ones that were drying up. Went back a couple days there and they are same size and junk. We need some rain and not frost.
We went out looking and found four trees with very small morels. I was very suprised how dry the hills were. My buddy found 15 3 inch morels in his back yard.
My last deer fortress I built I didn’t use crete. I buried the 4×6’s 4 foot in the ground and 10 foot above. The base is 4’x6′ and used heavy 3/4″ ply and it is very strudy. Have heard that crete will speed up rot on your posts.
