If you can find a lake with clear enough water you also try site fishing. I’ve done this many times before I bought my first flasher. Find the weeds, and you will find panfish and just outside the weed bed you can set up a tip up for pike. btw. I have bought all my flashers at pawn shops. Cheaper than brand new yet I still got somewhat of a return/ Warranty if it work right.

I just bought the new leech flutter spoon and am pretty excited to try em out.
In the past I used Swedish pimples for walleye and perch, even crappie. But flutter spoon and tingler are also good.
I use a variety of tungsten Jigs for panfish tipped with either plastics or waxies.
When trying out new Jigs I always drop it a few inches in the water and figure out how to jig just right. There is a different technique for different lures.

I use the snaps and haven’t had a problem. They can be a pain in the butt if your hands are cold though.

I’m also thinking about heading there in the morning what time are you going? I’ve got a couple spots for <strong class=”ido-tag-strong”>walleye and crappie

I’m going to try and hit the landing at about 5:30

To the right? Or on the twenty foot flat to the left?

I was out there last Tuesday and there was a guy with an ATV on the ice. Was hoping he wouldn’t drive by me, but he didn’t fall through though.

Went out today and did Good for myself. Four eyes and some decent perch. 4 1/2″ of good ice. Going back out for a bit tomorrow.

Stop light is a great place to get your bait or tackle. I’ve been going there for years now I’ve never had an issue.
