Heck … Put on your waders and start casting. Great shoreline bite that time of year. Did the same thing for my honeymoon. The Twin Pines guys will put you on fish !

Downloaded for $9.99 last December for LOTW / Mille Lacs ice fishing trips. Surprisingly accurate finding structure = fishing success. I was not disappointed in the purchase. Worth the $$

November 17, 2011 at 2:04 am #1009684Yes out of Terry’s that night. Hitting our fall “milk Run” spots. Nice to ride in a boat that shortens some of those long runs. Here’s a couple other pic’s. Sorry Cal we didnt make it out (injury default) – looking forward to next year
November 8, 2011 at 5:36 pm #1007383Weeds still abound everywhere. This was another reason we were slow rolling the lures over the top. We were running these only about 6″ under the surface but above the submerged weeds. Funny even the Rocks have weeds Never seen anything like it this year.
Cal – I will give you a hollerOctober 14, 2010 at 2:39 pm #904269Mike, I will be out on Indian Point. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Its been 3 years and 3 back surgery’s. Finally had the back fused. Im so ready to go .
Good luck everybody and be save out there. JohnMay 18, 2010 at 1:32 pm #872704May 18, 2010 at 1:28 pm #872702Brent, This is the same problem Im having right now with

I was out the other night as well. Ditto on the fish before dark. Picked up 9 fish casting Weed lines Garrison
and Twin Pines in 4 hours starting about 4:30 pm. After dark the bite got tough 1 fish from Pikes Point to Terry’s trolling. Blue Chrome Rogues – downsized to the 4 1/2″ suspending above the weeds. Size was decent 22″ – 26″ but not what I was looking for either. Things will get better if we can get this weather pattern to straighten out.Good Luck and be safe !!

June 20, 2006 at 5:56 pm #455048Derek,
Thanks for the Info. – How about the Mud flats – Do you have a rule of thumb in regards to the depth bomb sinking into the mud ??) If so , how do you know if your high enough off the bottom out there. Do use a standard rule out there.
Thanks again

June 20, 2006 at 2:59 pm #454989Derek,
Is setting the depth critical with this type of rig. Just wondering, that having the Egg sinker above the drop line do you need to compensate for the drop line length when checking bottom. Thanks

John From ChamplinJanuary 10, 2006 at 7:53 pm #410738From just before the full moon of Oct to the 14th of Nov. all my fish came off the Smithwick (Discontinued) ASDRC Model 5 1/2 ” 1/2OZ. “suspending” – The best “wobble” in the stick bait business. Total #’s this fall on Mille Lacs 668 fish in 37 days. Since they are tough (that size) to find – go to Lurenet.com – and buy the bone color (no paint job) there like 1.89 a piece – I send them to a guy in N.C. who’s custom paints them for me 40 at a time. or paint your own !!
