I had originally planned on re-using the MK-16-1 slide mount that i had for my powerdrive but the cables from the motor head would not let the motor to slide all the way out before becoming tight. I opted to go with minn kotas MK-21 mount . It has a approximately 4″x7″ carbon block that mounts to the deck with 4 screws and locknuts. the motor has a piece that mounts to the bottom of it. then you just set the motor over the block and a u shaped handle slides thru both pieces holding it all together. The box it comes in has a cut out mounting template inside of it to help position it and mark the holes for drilling.

I just installed a new terrova on my boat last weekend. after reviewing your pictures yours looks like a walk in the park compared to what i had to deal with. are you planning to mount it directly to the deck of the boat or are you going to use a removable mount.

Thanks, I will keep these in mind when i get this motor in the water and start figuring it out. I’ve seen the legacy and advance modes on the remote but havent gotten to figure that out yet. this may save me another forum question..

try talking to them first. Politely explain your safety concerns and depending on how that interaction goes you’ll know where you stand. while you see their blind/camp to close to your property line they may see yours as encrouching on thiers. i would suggest that you would both move away from the property line away from each other. just my thoughts.

Thanks, these are all good tips, i remember seeing something pertaaining to boat size with a adjustment from -2 to +2 with 0 being nuetral. maybe adjusting this will help him. everything is a problem to him as he doesnt try to find a solution. his boat is a bit heavier than mine but i will suggest he try the scale adjustment.

definately the mosquito coils, a light weight headnet, and i find the most important thing is a hanging bug net to hang above your bed. I,ve been to Ontario many times and every year i bring less. You dont say what your gonna fish for. walleye – some 1/4 and 3/8 oz. jigs and a half of crawler is all i ever use. put on a white 4″ mister twister type plastic tail for walleye and pike. Dont over pack on clothes but bring a warm hoody and full rainsuit. If bringing alcohol consider a bottle instead of beer. a case of beer is twenty pounds.
